Advice please - iPhone or Samsung?

I recently compared the Ipod Touch which had been reduced in price and the Galaxy S3. I have been debating about getting a touch for months so finally when it got reduced in price, I was sorely tempted! However when I compared the two (the S3 and the Touch), I found that the Galaxy S3 won me over. First off, it meant I could stay with Google Apps. The S3 has a bigger screen and a better camera. There were other technical bits that I compared/didn't really understand. Then I looked at the S4 and S5 and my mind boggled!

I opted for the S3 in the end. I didn't need to worry about not having I tunes as I can download music to it thanks to the new feature from @mazon that means you can download music if you bought the cd.

I'm really happy with it although still getting used to it and a bit miffed it got reduced in price again less than a week after I bought it but other than that I am happy with my purchase and pleased I opted for this over the Touch.

OP if you prefer the Apple locked down operating system you may be better sticking with what you already know .

My friends have two s3's that wont play music without stuttering and they are very unhappy with Samsung. The internet is full of the same issue and there is no fix.

Personally I wouldn't touch a Samsung phone at the moment.

Nothing to do with Samsung, Google introduced that and several other problems in version 4.3 of the operating system. The fix is to roll back to the original (4.1.2) version.
