Wasn't that the advert that ended...
"NO DOGS!"

The filleting fish requirement is a bit oddly specific. I bet he's an angler

He says he has a good sense of humour and the ad is being talked about as hilarious. The question is whether he did this on purpose as an example of GSOH and for someone looking it might be worth finding out.But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

i showed this to my other half, and he thinks add is displaying his GSOH, and is tounge in cheek, and he finds it funny.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
I have decided the ad is tongue in cheek, and that the fish filleting requirement is merely to keep down the 'application' numbers
. He slipped up by not mentioning how smart he is though, so not for me. Pity as I can not only catch the fish, but I can clean it on the river bank, light a small safe fire & cook it too....
the one that got away... :rotfl:0 -
Best ad I ever came across was in the personal column of a town newspaper, reading simply, "Boring old f**t seeks similar."0

It reminds me of the ad that the old farmer put in after his wife died: 'Farmer, looking for woman with tractor. Please send photo of tractor'.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
