I do worry at times at his feminine side, but it does mean he can pick me a nice dress, shoes and has excellent taste in bags of the expensive variety! I'm spoiled!!0

I would be upset if my husband didn't notice that! 12 inches off is massive! I would think he didn't care if my husband ignored such a drastic change!
Well, that's it, maybe he indeed doesn't care, in that he finds you beautiful whatever length your hair is. I am assuming expecting him to notice mean expecting a compliment, as otherwise, would you expect him to notice when you wash your hair, use a different deodorant, buy new socks etc...
I think many men don't care half as much about some aspects of our appearance as we do, they just like us to be happy with the way we look.0 -
I would notice if my wife did something drastic to her hair, I wouldn't say anything though. It leads to awkward conversations.
Wife: Do you like it?
Me: Yeah, it's nice. Suits you.
Wife: Cos I dunno, I thought it might be a bit much. It was okay before wasn't it?
Me: Yeah, you looked lovely.
Wife: So you think I shouldn't have done it?
Me: Y... err... no, I mean ye... erm, no it looks great!
Wife: Better than what I had before?
Me: Yeah.
Wife: So you didn't like what I had before?
Me: Yeah, it was lovely.
Wife: But you like this better?
Me: Yes, yes I do.
Wife: But why?
Me: I don't know, it's different.
Wife: What do you mean, you don't know? Different how?
Me: Well it's different.... look what do you want from me?
Wife: I want to know whether you like it?
Me: I told you I did.
Wife: Well there must be a reason why? I mean you've said it's better so you mustn't have really liked how it was before?
Me: I think I hear my phone going....
Wife: Your phone is over there on silent.
Me: I meant my car alarm... I best go and check on that....0 -
Mine notices. I think that's because I tell him I'm going, then afterwards stand in front of him going "DO YOU LIKE MY HAIR I'VE HAD IT DONE?"
It's a bit like when I drop him hints about what I want for a present. These hints involve me repeatedly telling him "I want you to get me (specific thing) for (upcoming occasion) please."
I always get compliments from him on a new hairdo/clothes/etc and get just what I wanted for gifts

My Wife has been driving for nearly 30 years now and has yet to notice the white lines that you maneuver between when parking.Pants0

I'm the unobservant one in our relationship. DH notices everything - new hair, new clothes, spots, dry skin, you name it.
Then on the other hand it took me 4 days to notice that he'd grown a Tom Selleck style moustache once.0 -
I was surprised though when I changed the downstairs room round quite a bit
and he didn't notice!
Maybe he did and hated it but did not want to start an argument. My wife has gone decorating mad since she semi retired and a lot of it is not to my taste but I'm not going to tell her that, easier just to get used to it.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -
A woman in the office a few weeks ago said she liked my hair. I thought it very odd, but then I remembered I'd had it cut the day before.
It turns out I don't even notice my own hair being cut.0 -
I guess people are just more observant about some things than others. OH usually notices if I'd had my hair cut unless it looks very similar, in which case he usually tells me it was a waste of money. I usually notice his but it has gone a miss a few times if I've not being paying attention to detail!0
