OHs noticing changes

seeing as the board is loving experiments today i thought i would do one of my own

i have had 12 inches cut off of my hair today and now i am timing how long it will take OH to notice

we are at 9 hours so far and he has just gone to work saying 'did you take off your earrings?' tonight i am going to ramp it up a bit by also colouring it and see if he notices either tomorrow

so how long does it take your OH to notice things like changing your hair?

    if I had 12 inches cut off my hair he'd definitely notice.
    If I go from collar-length (my normal length before I get it cut and restyled) to say chin-length, he notices. Its possibly because he changes his hair/facial growth stylings about every fortnight, so he tends to notice when folk around him have had their do's done.

    Good luck on the ramp-up OP :D!

    Stop doing the housework and washing; see how long he notices before the house turns into a sh*t-tip. :D

    I remember fitting some very expensive alloy wheels to a sports car I owned. After a week of fruitlessly waiting for my girlfriend of the time to notice, I gave up and pointed them out to her.

    DH would notice 12 inches off my hair, it's only around 12 inches long!

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    When I make a hair appointment now, he always comments on it afterwards.

    Last time, I had to cancel as I was stuck at work and when I got home he told me "that's a nice cut"!

    To be fair, I've had the same style for years, so I can't blame him for not noticing.

    i'm with your girlfriend there - I probably wouldn't have noticed if you'd changed the whole car, unless it was a completely different colour too :rotfl:.

    If it were me I'd probably notice but not make anything of it, after all, not my bloomin hair is it, it gets cut from time to time and isn't a cause for anything special. I get that some people might want validation of it for whatever reason, but ultimately it's nowt to be causing a song & dance about.

    (welcome to the male world, it's yer hair, come back when you've got a finger off then we have something to talk about!)
