Well, I haven't played many of the above games, but IO seriously doubt that for sheer cruddiness they can beat my choice....

Advanced Lawnmower Simulator for the ZX Spectrum!!!!

(admittedly this rather wonderfully dire game was pretty much created - in Sinclair BASIC....to be deliberately bad)

    Debt-free and Proud!
Can't believe left 4 dead was mentioned, was a great game imo!

    Worst games for me...

Spectrum -> popeye, even as a 7 year old, i knew it was crap.
Amiga -> italia 90, football acted and sounded like a wet paper bag
Pc - battlecruiser 3000ad. If anyone knows about this game, you'll know why. Over a decade in the making, full of broken promises and bugs.
Modern day -> minecraft. Seriously, !!!!!!?
  • Elder Scrolls Oblivion and FallOut.....boring, just plain boring.

The Great Space Race - it was on the Spectrum circa 1984. Cost £15 which was A LOT then and it was my hard saved pocket money. Utter dross, written in BASIC.
Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,108
  • Not sure i would consider this a bad game but i just never really got in to it and that was Pikmin on the gamecube.

Typed this in youtube and I can see why you hated it. And £15?? eeeppp!! I used to think that saving £1.99/£2.99 for a game took an age (50p a week pocket money) but saving all that time to get rubbish like that must have been gut wrenching.
BEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

comping = nowt more thrillin' than winnin':T :j
  • I remember ET and it was definitely the worst game I ever played, all I ever seemed to do was repeatedly fall into holes in the ground.

In general the games I didn't get on with were the old 80's, 90's text adventure games like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, I'm pretty sure you start that game in Arthur Dent's bedroom and I never managed to even get out of that very first room lol.

I do enjoy the conjecture here.

Somebody who mentioned - Fallout, my favourite game. The problem is with modern day games, and in the current climate, £50 on an unheard of game is a massive risk on something that could be terrible.

This is where I think the Destiny method is the correct way. Alpha's and Beta's.
  • I was planning on playing it, but not after all these negative reviews
