What is the Worst video game you have played?

I've never played anything that I'd label a true stinker, but The Mummy game is probably the lowest it has gotten for me.

A lot of awful games would be enjoyable without the bugs so its often down to a individuals patience in the game.

I.e Sonic 2006 had game breaking bugs and loading times so bad you could wait a minute to speak to 1 character then another minute to load the level again after speaking to them, it was a good game apart from things like that just needed bugfixes.

So many bugfixed games that people are frustrated with would be hugely better than a game which has been ported and bugfixed well.

Anyway as for bad games a lot of the worst games can be enjoyable for short playthroughs now and again but awful for long sitthroughs, I enjoy games like Turtles on the Nes which was hated for its difficulty and can complete it quite easily

Alone in the dark was a terrible game in my opinion. What probably made it worse for me was that I had been reading about it for weeks (months?) prior to release and was looking forward to it, and was let down by a poor game.

I've had the misfortune to play most of the titles listed above. However I have played a game so terrible, how its defined as a game I have no idea.

Far Cry 2. One of the worst games I have ever (tried) to play!!! Glad I only paid £3.50 for it! Loved Far Cry 3 which I played first. Good job I did because if I had played 2 first I would never have bought 3...... Can't wait for 4..

deus ex. ridiculously hard. people who are great at games seem to like it but be objective, a game should be able to appeal to all abilities.
playing borderlands at the moment and thats super tough. i have somehow managed to get to the final boss. will i beat the boss? i'm not sure, i arent confident. this game has so many faults. one boss i faced was still alive after i had unloaded all bullets of all four weapons into it. i had to resort to useing the turret which took an age coz it only lasts so long and then you have to wait a while before useing it again. another boss was able to regenerate its energy if you didnt keep shooting at it. this would be fine except it kept running and hiding before you killed it.

I'll give it to Duke Nukem Forever. It's one of those weird instances where you know something is probably going to be bad but when you see Steam offering it for 74 pence that little part of you decides to check it out just to see if it really is that bad. It really is that bad.

How fitting that you start the game taking a whizz. The whole thing goes down the toilet from there on.

I actually quite enjoyed it (having never played the first one) right up until the game ending 62% bug caused me to literally snap the disk in half and vow never to buy a Far Cry game again!

Make A Chip for the ZX81, it was admittedly given as part of a package deal, but you could not class it as educational or a game, (even after 15 minutes loading) and it was certainly no advertisement for the computer.

man, so many games i loved mentioned on this thread dishonoured, deus ex, alone in the dark, great games imo

i hated left for dead, purely mindless, so much so it was boring

plus any golf game, or snooker or something lame like that, its boring in real life, not sure why you would play a simulation of it
