Items - absolutely... but giftcards might be different.
I got 4 tickets to Alton Towers through work once, and put them on Gumtree. I did state where the tickets were (my location), and that I'd be happy with cash on collection, or if someone wanted them sent out: Paypal or bank transfer.
They sold as two sets of 2, to people living close to the attraction (reason I never used them myself was living so far away). One paid via bank transfer, one paid via paypal. Tickets were sent out signed for, so they could track them, and I knew they'd arrived.
It could be that people all over the country searches for giftcards on Gumtree, as clearly they do for tickets.
Congrats on your amazing win OP!
That's interesting to know, thanks.

I took this advice today and took some old tat pieces to a jewellery shop in the centre of Birmingham . I was offered £298. Amazing - the items would not tempt anyone normally. The advice said, however, that it might be worth getting quotes in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham. I decided to walk - about a mile - to get there. Next quote £415. Third quote - £425. Glad I acted on the advice. As the town centre jewellery store was advertising that they gave the best prices perhaps they ought to get their scales checked.
Thanks Sax11 for the link.0 -
Firstly, congrats. 20k worth of shopping vouchers is just amazing!!
I often search on ebay for shopping vouchers and with online ones I've seen people just selling their account instead as things like delivery address can be altered.
Problem with selling clothes and shoes is the sizing. And another thing is what if the buyer needed an exchange/refund? That can mount up to a lot of hassle.0 -
The men's version of the website sells watches that RRP at £4195. You may get buyers on ebay at 10% discount if you explain they are brand new with full warranty etc.0

Could you maybe ask about for an indy clothes/shoe shop that might want to buy stock from you? You'd have to offer a good % knocked off to make it worthwhile but may be the fastest way to get it turned to cash.0
