How to get over loneliness and lack of social life?

Top tip, most new friends will not be interested in listening to your worries. So forget about that one for a start.
In my experience when you getting to know someone things start off quite light for a good while. Its rare that friends are really truely supportive anyway in my experience although others may say differently.0 -

Yeah, i understand that it's hard to trust anybody these days 100%, be it friends or family. I'm not looking for someone to spill my heart and worries out too, just people to socialise with and experience different things with. My social life is just stagnating right now, and i haven't made hardly any new friends since college, which i finished 5 years ago.0 -

Meet up is full of different groups. There are groups specifically for 20 and 30 somethings, other groups for 40s and over and some groups will have people in them from 20-60 and beyond
The only way you'll know is if you get off your backside, join a few and get out there and meet people.
Or just carry on the way you are, your call.
Well granted, i haven't really socialised with older people before.
I will try give it a go.
Thanks.0 -

A few things I spotted in writing styles that compare as well... What a poor individual!0

Yep, same age and all. Mid 20s, fantasises about older women. Stories about struggles with people: family get togethers and suchlike.
I think that it's all the same person. He has a split personality. The 'poor me, feel sorry for me, no-one likes me' side, and the abusive, mocking 'I'm so superior' side.
But I think it's all the same person.(•_•)

I just figured both characters have quirks in their styles of writing, once you notice then it sticks out
