Help to unlock nokia 3120

Hi, My BT pay as u go service ended in March, just found out and they have snaffled my credit balance!!


So I need to unlock the phone - how do I do this? does anybody remember which network BT used?


I know the phone is 10 years old but it is only used in an emergency - little used so I don't want to bin-it just yet.

I have the IMEI code.

Hi,

you seem unsure about the network, so maybe that is the problem

Try this, see if it generates the same code.

Think you can only try 3 times and then phone is totally locked.

Hi, and thank you for your help so far. Have asked BT which network they used - BT Mobile. Have entered and checked all info.

if not too bothered about appearance, I've got an old Nokia 1100, been in a drawer for a few years, no charger, but your's will fit.

well, it's been a while since I used it, but pretty sure it is unlocked.

No harm in trying it, if it doesn't work, bin it.

Plenty of these unlocked on eBay from 99p upwards...

Done that but so far the codes do not work!! One question - should the (new) Sim card be installed before entering the code?
