Good evening everybody  - hope we've all had a good day of OS'ing :).

Thanks for all the comments on my HB/CT situation - at the moment I've got to list my incomings/outgoings to see if I can get 'them' to reduce one of the 'clawbacks' to £5 per week instead of £10.95. Would only mean an extra £5.95 in my pocket - but better than nothing.

Sorry to hear about your experience at the scan, dandy-candy. It must feel awful to have to wait for your results when you get the impression that the operator could perhaps tell you something. Hoping you get good news next week - HScyboie_glitters.gif to you.

donny-gal - I notice you mentioned having problems with 'itching skin' :(. My mum has been suffering with this for around 18mths now and was prescribed something called 'Dermol' for cleansing/showering/shampooing/moisturising. The irritation was so bad that her hair was also falling out; but she's found some improvement at last. At the moment she's in hospital for another reason, but the Staff are using it on her as prescribed to continue the improvement.

Good to hear that you enjoyed 'wedding shopping', Judi - hope all goes smoothly for the happy couple :T.

HSrainbowhugs3.gif to all who need, or want, one.

Had quite a good shift at the CS today AND I managed to ignore all bargains. I even managed yesterday to ignore that beautiful Indigo Moon jacket in another CS that was priced at £5 .................. even though it WAS in my size :(.

Called into A$da for a little necessary whoopsie trawl:
    • 3 Hovis 50/50 loaves at 20p each - split into half-loaves and frozen
    • pack of sliced green beans at 30p - into freezer veg drawer
    • Iceberg Lettuce at 26p
    • dented tin of Spaghetti Loops 8p
    • pack of soya chilli mix 38p
    • pack of Lychees 30p - will go well with some fat-free yoghurt
    • 10 Free Range Happy Eggs £1.35

Then called at Tesco to check their whoopsies:
    • 1 large deli-counter Chicken Tikka Samosa which OH loves - 23p - into freezer
    • 8ozs Country Ham - enough for a Ham Salad for 2 - 42p - into freezer

Back into the CS tomorrow morning for a full-day shift - hope we have a 'good productive day'. There's very hot temps forecast so no doubt many of our customers will be wanting to sit outside with their cuppas and refreshments.

HSluck30134042JRjqS5Zp.gif to those who've got children breaking up from school this week - and especially all those lovely nanas/grandads etc who may be looking after them. Hope you find some good, but cheap/OS, things to keep them occupied :rotfl:.

cheers for now - Lilyplonk xx

    Evening all,

Strange week so far, on low fibre diet in preparation for colonos opy on Friday and joy oh joy get to drink the 4 litres of 'stuff' tomorrow that will necessitate me sitting on the loo for the rest of the day....really looking forward to it! Apparently if there is anything 'sinister' they will talk to me about it before I comehome, otherwise results will take about 2 weeks.

Very warm here today, like yesterday very little sun, but very pleasant, managed to pick another half kg of gooseberries, hopefullyI can getthe rest tomorrow and put them in the fridge to deal with on Saturday. Would like to strip the rhubarb too if I can, not a great crop this year, think that I might get some new towards end of the year, might even sow some seed.

Hugs to all in need of one or more, not really up to remembering what people said, nothing seems to stay in my head for very long these days.

Borrowed A girl called Jack book fromlibrary, some nice recipes which I will copy before I bring it back, not sure that I could live on a tenner by following the recipes but what the h,, k, she deserves some good luck for what she has been through, brave young lady.

    Sleep well and stay safe

Hope everything "goes" well for Friday Meanmarie and there is nothing sinister or needing drastic treatment.
