I am going to put today down as a success
I have had a NSD, I made £1.95 picking up my mums prescription for her from the chemist ... she did not want the change, and also I completed another mystery shop which is another £4. In two days I have made £8 in Mystery Shopping.
I also completed a survey on valued opinions, and made another £1.50. Still keeping all of my voucher rewards for Christmas.
Enjoying this road to becoming debt free, feel like I am learning so much already and it is still really only the beginning.
Also another day Smoke Free today, each day the smoke free journey is becoming easier.Total debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29

Oh no Maryland cookie! What's wrong? I think we all get points where we think..... Can I actually do this? And it's hard with debt because it's so quick to rack up but takes so long to pay off.... Plus it's not easy to live to a tight budget!

Thanks Laura, I'm off work this week and I'm decorating, so bought bedding, curtains etc. so the house will look lovely, but the bank balance won't :0( Been socialising a lot, going out for coffee and cake adds up. My waistline is also paying for it!!
Hoping to get back on track when I'm back at work next week. Thanks for your support x0 -
Anytime Maryland cookie! I've slipped up hundreds maybe even more times than that, so don't give yourself too much of a hard time! And you have time to start again, I don't think it's wrong to treat yourself every now and again or you will completely fall off the wagon!
At least you will have a lovely home to show for the money

So I have been paid today, but actually I am going to pretend in my mind that I haven't! Apart from for petrol! I'm going to push my budget one step further than last month and see if I can literally get by without spending things that I have too!
It is going to be tough but I'm up for the challenge. All I keep thinking is the more I budget now the more I can afford later on in life!x

Sounds good Laura. Hope your having a nice weekend. Ive just been out for a lovely meal with OH, we were very MSE and caught the bus there and back. The restaurant was unlicensed so we took our own wine, it was a lovely, but cheap night.
Back at work Monday so the diet and NSD's will start! X0 -
I'm having a lovely weekend thanks Maryland cookie! Sounds like you are too! I love unlicensed restaurants there is one near my boyfriends house, saves so much money!!
No better time to start again than on a Monday! I think of a new start every Monday.... Especially when it comes to the non smoking! It's such a difficult thing to stop so every day I wake up I remind myself I don't smoke anymore! I've also stopped counting how many days because I just know in my mind this time is going to be forever! XxTotal debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29
