Yes thanks, been out with my friend this evening for hair of the dog!! Shame it's back to work tomorrow :0(0

Hair of the dog is always the best cure!!! Even though sometimes you really don't think you can stomach it he he!
Yeah me too, and I am relying on my work colleague for a lift again bless her, so nice for her for doing that 3 days so far for me when it is completely out of her way, but I would always return the favor!
Just have to think about the money, that is literally the only thing to get you throughTotal debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29

Smiles123: I completely forgot to say, somebody else mentioned to me the other day about there only being 19 in some packets now. That's awful isn't it, they were expensive enough when you got 20 in a packet!!
So glad I don't have to even worry about that anymore, just another benefit of being an ex-smoker.
It was chucking it down with rain most of the day here and I just felt relief that I didn't have to worry about going outside to smoke anymoreTotal debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29

Hey Diary!
No news on my car yetNo idea if that is a bad thing or not.... Hopefully will hear something tomorrow!
As for today, it was a NSD for me and I also completed another mystery shop today online for £4 I should be getting £12 in total from that this month. I will be putting that to my Emergency account.
I am not ignoring my debt, but I really do think an emergency fund needs to be my top priority or I could end up undoing all my hard work should anything go wrong.
I found £5 change in my purse from the weekend so I paid that into my emergency fund todaySlowly but surely I am getting to my £300 target, then I can refocus on getting that debt cleared.
Another day smoke free tooAlthough that just feels like normal for me now.

Hi Laura!
Fingers crossed for good news on the car front tomorrow.
I love finding money in my purse that I didn't realise I had! I've got one of those sealed money box pots, forget what they're called and I put any money I find in there. Had 1p road kill at Tesco tonight!
Tend to put mine and OH spare change in there too, more his than mine though lol!!
Keep up the good work :0) x0 -
Cheers Maryland cookie I was hoping I would have it back by this evening but the person picking it up didn't bother to get it till 2pm this afternoon apparently - I was at work so just assumed he would get it up the garage nice and early but no!
I'm literally stuck in watching tv most evenings, didn't realise just how much I rely on my car and take it for granted! I don't live within walking distance of anything interesting.... Guess that is good for not spending!
It's great finding money you didn't know you havesealed pots are a great idea! I put mine into my emergency account now! This car issue has taught me a lesson! He he! Xx

Hi Laura, any car news? Fingers crossed its not too expensive.
I know what you mean about relying on your car, I'm the same. I'm not a keen driver, but it's handy to be able to go and do what you want when you want without relying on public transport or lifts x0 -
Bless you not having your car, my oh has ours to get to work and back so unless I really need to go out I am in most days as I am not keen on taking baby on a bus, too much okie hard work. Fortunately oh does shifts so I do get to go out most days if I want.
Emergency fund good idea. I have £325 in my savings account, but this is less than what I need to clear my overdraft, so not sure if I am kidding myself with it if you know heat I mean.
Looking forward to payday Friday, will be in the black again and put some pennies towards my cards.
If you get bored record judge rinder, my sort of humour, lol
Nearly the weekend yay!0
