Just had a read through your diary. Well done on your progress so far and well done with giving up smoking! I'm going to be keeping a spending diary once I get paid and also aiming for lots of NSDs !0

Thank you all for your support, it's never easy to completely change your lifestyle .... And for me changing my spending habits for the better and also quitting smoking, it's a lot all at once but in a good way!
Maryland cookie: I completely agree with you, I now religiously update my NSD just before bed everyday, and I am so addicted to wanting to put NSD rather than writing down a purchase - I'm like a different person!!!
Hi cariona79 thank you taking time to read my diary and show some support I really do appreciate itI paid an early repayment on the loan of £120.19 and a similar amount to do the credit from my barclaycard to my current account in order to pay it off. But every month the loan was costing me £105 a month in interest - so in two months I will break even and ongoing it will say me loads. The 0% is until may 2015 so 9 months, but I have somewhere I can balance transfer it to after that which is 32 months 0% my aim is to have it cleared by that point if not way before! But at least now it is on 0% so I am paying off the balance not interest
That's my thinking anywayTotal debt to pay: £14,071.41/ Remaining debt: £12,884.12: Amount Paid: £1,187.29

Hi pinkgiraffe2014 thank you for reading through! Spend diaries really help to spot them small purchases that seem like nothing at the time but over a month really do add up! As mentioned previously it gets really addictive!

I use one called ESA market research and they seem to do all sorts like webchat mystery shops, telephone etc! Search them on google! Usually you have to do a small grammar test before being accepted but doesn't take long!
Welcome to the forum also! Are you also on a debt free journey? You will find so much support here, I love reading through other people's diaries and also doing the debt free challenges too!look forward to seeing your journey

Diary update:
Two NSD's this week already!have also made a 30p extra payment to barclaycard today to round my bank account down to a nice round amount! It's payday on Monday, and I have managed another month of not using my frozen credit card
I also am finishing on nearly a full tank of diesel aswell!progress is being made!
Thought I would share a couple of highlights of this month for me:
Sticking within my budget and making it to payday without adding to debts, making my set payment to my barclaycard as planned plus many small over payments, still remain on the smoke free wagon despite one blip, and as well as all of this I have put £100 into my emergency account, and £300 into my joint mortgage saving fund!
All in all I would say I am finally getting to grips with all of this budgeting and above everything else I also got some of my most expensive debt onto 0%!!!
Let's see what this next month holds for me, I get a bonus in this pay packet so that will be going straight to my barclaycard! Update to follow on this
Thought I would finish this post with saying a massive massive thank you to all of the support I've received, and to everyone who took time to read through my journey so far! It's so nice to read your messages of supportgood luck to you all on your journeys and I can't wait to follow yours!
