    Good morning everyone.

What a morning I have had already.

DS1 has missed the bus on purpose, we had an argument last night over buying clothes!!!!!!! He wants all expensive designer stuff he is 14, we only bought him new tracksuit bottoms about 3 weeks ago and the are half way up his leg already. So I said could we just buy him some cheap ones from sports soccer for him to mess around in for over the summer holidays, and he has gone up the wall at me. Starts ranting and raving at us so I took his phone off him last night.

So this morning he spends ages in the shower, comes down messes around with his breakfast then sits at the table saying he not going to school until he gets his phone back. I tell him he not getting it until he starts behaving and not ranting at us. He walks out, but has missed the bus.

So now I have got to take him the 6 miles to school in the car, but not before I take my other DS to school and then walk the dog, I have phoned the school and told them the argument and why he has done it and they laughed and said what a !!!!!! he is lol.

Kids dont you just love/hate them, and I got to put up with this for 6 weeks, I am going to be pulling my hair out this year.

Please tell me it gets better.

good morning all, hope everyone is well, xx

I would love to tell you it gets better I am sure it will xx but have not experienced that with any of mine :o my girls both had jobs at 13 so if they wanted anything extra got it them selves. and the 2 boys are right scruffs they take pride in their country roots:rotfl:
I have to nag them to wear anything nice, we have a big family do on saturday and dgd christening sunday I asked ds3 what he had to wear he is 14 and told me he had plenty of things, went through his clothes yesterday and anything nice is to small, he said jeans and clean t shirt for party and school trousers and his only shirt that he had last year for the christening of other dd baby, no point in buying anything new :o:o so looks like we will be going shopping
we need a steady medium between yours and mine, Sarah

    Good morning all :)

Nowhere near caught up at the moment but I'm on holiday this week so I'm sure I will be soon :D My first fun day includes waiting in for the builder to look at a leak that came through my ceiling yesterday :(

Anyway, my contribution for the day is for anyone that hasn't done the Venus Sugarberry TMF. It's currently £11 in T's and £5 in A's so good for PP, there's also a £2 voucher on SSM so (providing the cheque arrives) £8 profit :D

With thanks to the TMF board :)

for those with to many cucumbers this is the hot soup i make,
    • 800g cucumber
    • 2 tbspns virgin olive oil
    • 4 spring onions
    • 225g potatoes
    • 1 – 1½ pt chicken or vegetable stock
deseed cue chop everything finely, heat oil cook onions and cue for a few mins then add potatoes and stock simmer for about 20 mins until veg is tender, can be left like this but i prefer to blend about 3/4 so it is creamy with a few lumps you can add a little cream or milk if liked
my sister adds garlic but my boys dont like it so personal preference.

    serve hot with crusty bread,,

    Morning all

Been missing you all :( There are just not enough hours in the day.... something is going to have to give soon (my sanity is my first bet ) Not even had chance to lurk so I'm sure I've missed all sorts of bargains.

Apart from my lack of time and spiralling shopping bill, things are going pretty well here. Had a CT scan the other week which I've not heard anything about so I can only assume was normal :T
I've managed to lose almost 2 stones of the weight I gained during treatment and had my first proper hair cut this weekend. Feel as if I am finally getting back to the old me :D

Hope all is okay with the Elite :)

Aww so pleased all is well with you logie. People are always asking after you. Bet your looking fab :) hope you do get to relax soon and enjoy the sunshine with your boys. Take care my love xx
