    Morning campers, great new thread...
had the pleasure of meeting the gorgeous Emmap yesterday at Hyde Park....in true Elite style I just picked her out of the crowd from the little pic she puts up here !!!!................doesn't do you justice hun...must have been a scary moment being accosted by a crazy granny but she was gracious.
I mentioned to her that I am still getting the jewellery box chocs and have found that they come in a quite large plain brown (cardboard coloured) nbox with LIR on the side and ucsually a smaller sticker with T beauty box on it, this box has four in it hth.

    Good morning everyone.

What a morning I have had already.

DS1 has missed the bus on purpose, we had an argument last night over buying clothes!!!!!!! He wants all expensive designer stuff he is 14, we only bought him new tracksuit bottoms about 3 weeks ago and the are half way up his leg already. So I said could we just buy him some cheap ones from sports soccer for him to mess around in for over the summer holidays, and he has gone up the wall at me. Starts ranting and raving at us so I took his phone off him last night.

So this morning he spends ages in the shower, comes down messes around with his breakfast then sits at the table saying he not going to school until he gets his phone back. I tell him he not getting it until he starts behaving and not ranting at us. He walks out, but has missed the bus.

So now I have got to take him the 6 miles to school in the car, but not before I take my other DS to school and then walk the dog, I have phoned the school and told them the argument and why he has done it and they laughed and said what a !!!!!! he is lol.

Kids dont you just love/hate them, and I got to put up with this for 6 weeks, I am going to be pulling my hair out this year.

Please tell me it gets better.

Oooooooooooo how i sympathize with you, i do not miss them days one little bit, i am so glad mine are all grown up now, but i do recall these sort of things happening many times whilst mine were growing up.

One thing i do recall was my eldest daugher wanted to go clothes shopping for uniform herself with her pals when she was aged 14, so i let her go off into town with her pals and i had given her £30 to buy herself some dinner, a pair of trousers, and a pair of shoes, (bear in mind this was 15 years ago and £30 would have bought her an entire uniform including bag and PE kit!) well....... she came back with a pair of trousers from River Island that she had paid £29.99 for:eek: and no shoes!

I went ballistic at her and returned the trousers on the Monday for a refund:D

From then on,we decided to start giving them money for jobs done around the house and insisted if they wanted clothes that i was not prepared to pay for, they bought them themselves, because when it came to wanting "Designer" brands, it was their own money they were spending and they all thought twice about it, when its mum n dads cash they are spending it dont matter how much something costs, but when they are spending their own money they tend to appreciate it a little more and spend it more wisely.

Plus we also found that they looked after things more too, none of the "designer" stuff got thrown on the bedroom floors :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.

Not sure if this is old news and already posted but for anyone who uses checkoutsmart, according to MSM Morribobs have the Kleenex double pack of mansize tissues at £1 and you can claim 50p up to 10 times on checkoutsmart.

    good as a buy alone in Morribobs or good as a A v M or T v M shop.

Once picked up on APG, buying AvM would be better as will bring the price down to 40p. That is better than the 50p a box they cost me in T - I was caught out on the wrong side of the double discount glitch :(.

Been missing you all :( There are just not enough hours in the day.... something is going to have to give soon (my sanity is my first bet ) Not even had chance to lurk so I'm sure I've missed all sorts of bargains.

Apart from my lack of time and spiralling shopping bill, things are going pretty well here. Had a CT scan the other week which I've not heard anything about so I can only assume was normal :T
I've managed to lose almost 2 stones of the weight I gained during treatment and had my first proper hair cut this weekend. Feel as if I am finally getting back to the old me :D

Hope all is okay with the Elite :)

Hi everyone, Sorry I haven't been posting my usual frequent target shops. I haven't been around much lately due to all my time and focus being taken up by job hunting, I haven't even done any target shops for a few weeks now due to this :( Hope everyone is well and enjoying glitchy shopping :)

I thought I'd share this offer from Topcashback, its £5 cashback for any DVD purchased but you need to click the link from the email as its members by invite only. Have a look for an email from, offers@email.topcashback.co.uk titled "Exclusively for you - £5 cashback on any DVD at Amazon!" I received mine on Saturday. Theres no minimum spend so if you go for a £5 DVD its effectively free :j

The only problem is now I cannot decide which DVD to buy LOL

Morning guys, feeling rough this morning (what's new there :rotfl:) managed to finally get to sleep at 3am.
Visitors had a great day on the Antrim Coast but thankfully I didn't take them, the women went shopping in Ballymena instead.

Being tortured by DS and his fav minecraft 'channel' on YouTube he's just shown me a minecraft version of Frozens Let it Go, quite good but told him there's no way I'd be watching the 7 mins of the video but was informed it's only 3 or 4 mins, so not very long. I must admit the animation is very good, god help me he's been hinting at a mod pack for it? I've no idea :o
