Morning all!
In my experience, people who have never had one (or who aren't the ones who do the washing up in their house) will tell you that you don't need one and it's not essential. People who have one (or who do the majority of the washing up in their house) will tell you life is too short to spend it with your hands in dirty water, particularly with up to 7 people using dishes!
We finally bought one a couple of months ago after years of wishing and dreaming after living in rented houses with tiny kitchens, and I can honestly say I would never go without one again!DS1 & his gf are saving to move out so need one to do the washing up when he leaves home :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I've googled it but the best I could get was 50/50 vinegar with water and sugar. Have lots of beetroot ready from the allotment.
