Does anyone know a way to preserve beetroot without using vinegar? I just don't like the taste of vinegar.:eek::eek:
I've googled it but the best I could get was 50/50 vinegar with water and sugar. Have lots of beetroot ready from the allotment.

A cleaning job we do, the lady asks us to use white vinegar for cleaning everything. Her house is sparkling, but stinks lol.
Aw, she just needs some reeds :rotfl:
Maybe I'll go with occassional cleaning with vinegar:)

Mine died last week. Ive ordered a new one and it's arriving today. Ive just reminded OH to listen out for the door. He claims I haven't told him I'd bought a new one. See......he doesn't listen to me!
Anyway, he's just asked why I bothered and why don't I just wash up in the bowl  after all Ive got plenty of WUL. He reckons a dishwasher is a luxury that can wait. I disagree, after having 7 people living here last week and having a serious case of dish pan hands!! I also think life is too short to spend that much time chained to the sink. I'm a bit annoyed actually :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm off to work.........leaving all the breakfast dishes, which i never do. Guess who's washing up?
Have a good day all
Morning all!
In my experience, people who have never had one (or who aren't the ones who do the washing up in their house) will tell you that you don't need one and it's not essential. People who have one (or who do the majority of the washing up in their house) will tell you life is too short to spend it with your hands in dirty water, particularly with up to 7 people using dishes!
We finally bought one a couple of months ago after years of wishing and dreaming after living in rented houses with tiny kitchens, and I can honestly say I would never go without one again!0 -

They will be updating - sit tight and the multis will come back later - we then need to double check if multis have appeared on the triggers (or indeed if the triggers have appeared!).
