Can you still get disability type allowance for depression and things like that?
I know you used to be able too.
I'm starting to think that that's maybe the best bet for me.0 -

Insomnia can lead to anxiety and depression so if you've had this for some time I would suggest looking at tackling it as you might find that with a better sleep pattern you will have more physical and mental energy and such task as a whole day work experience might then not be so daunting.
My insomnia comes and goes, but I had depression and anxiety for years. There's times when I've had a normal sleeping pattern going to sleep early and waking up early and I'll still be feeling the same as I do when I haven't slept properly. I can go to sleep at say 10 at night and wake up at 7/8, feel like I've stayed up all night.
I've tried things to sleep properly all the time, the counselor I used to have and also my doctor suggested things which I tried but nothing made much difference.0
