Can you still get disability type allowance for depression and things like that?
I know you used to be able too.

I'm starting to think that that's maybe the best bet for me.

You may be able to get PIP if you have care and /or mobility needs.

Those of us in the support group are left alone. Those in the work group (WRAG) may need to go to work focused interviews, etc. The idea being to get them work ready.

I'll probably end up in the work group, most likely sigh

Insomnia can lead to anxiety and depression so if you've had this for some time I would suggest looking at tackling it as you might find that with a better sleep pattern you will have more physical and mental energy and such task as a whole day work experience might then not be so daunting.

My insomnia comes and goes, but I had depression and anxiety for years. There's times when I've had a normal sleeping pattern going to sleep early and waking up early and I'll still be feeling the same as I do when I haven't slept properly. I can go to sleep at say 10 at night and wake up at 7/8, feel like I've stayed up all night.

I've tried things to sleep properly all the time, the counselor I used to have and also my doctor suggested things which I tried but nothing made much difference.
