MET Parking Services Ticket

Hi Guys,
Been reading the information and feel I need a little help to get this right rather than run off and make mistakes.
I recently got a ticket from MET while in a McDonalds which I want to appeal.
Looking in the guide post there is this but I cant seem to find the link it mentions
With the appeal letter, do I pretty much keep it at the template or are there changes I should make? This sort of thing really isnt my strong point as I've never had to do this before.
I see mentions of whether the ticket has POFA on it, but I'm not sure how this would be mentioned and if it actually makes a difference to the appeal.
Any guidance at all is really appreciated so I dont make silly mistakes.
Thanks in advance

When you have your NTK (or 'Charge Notice', or 'reminder' or 'PCN' or TNC or PCS debt collector drivel or whatever they call the first letter to keeper):
Compare your postal PCN (NTK) to paragraph 8 or 9 of POFA 2012 (linked below), depending if there was a windscreen ticket issued first or not.

Was this a windscreen ticket or a letter through the post? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If you received a postal PCN within 14 days this may not apply.
I wouldn't worry about the POFA 12 issue at this stage as MET are regulars here. More useful of relevant at POPLA.
Use template in Newbie thread.
If/When gets rejected find a good MET template and appeal to POPLA. ((and win)
If you can confirm days between Event and PCN that will help.
In the meanwhile if it is a local MCDonalds then go and complain very loudly in the restaurant in front of lots of customers.
Oh and does the letter mention a "survey" of car park? If so this makes interesting reading. (there are also postsm on here about it)

I will confirm the timing of the event and PCN later today.
I can't complain to the manager in store directly as its not a local one but I have used their website to send them a complaint about getting a fine while in their restaurant.
No wasn't a survey of the car park. Was ANPR camera that registered it.
Thanks for your help0 -

In which case the dates of the parking event and the date of receipt of the NtK take on a significance. Let us know please. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Write to the local paper in the town where you ate, send them a copy of PP's blogpost, and make yourself known to PP.

Just send the template as it is, written as a formal letter by just putting your PCN number on it as a heading and starting it 'Dear MET' and putting 'yours faithfully' at the end, with your name and address on it.
Or email or submit it online to MET but ONLY if the NTK offers email or online appeals of course. Follow what the PCN says about where to appeal to.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Reading some of the other threads here I've had a thought and checked my logic on Google maps as I cant get back to the location of the incident easily. I can't see any sign on entering the car park that mentions ANPR or time limits on staying.
The google image is from 2012 so this may have changed since then but without an easy way to check the location again I dont know if its worth including this in my appeals?
Wonder if there are any users local to the area who could check things out for me0 -
They'll almost certainly reject the appeal anyway, so don't bother trying to be too clever about it. Keep your ammunition for POPLA.0
