    It was a long shot. What I don't know is how much effort a cockerel has to put in to making its racket.
    The technique works with dogs who bark all day, but cockerels probably don't give a s***!

    If I was the OP I would go the sound conditioner route as I said earlier.
    Making your own white noise can bring amazing results in reducing awareness of other's noise.

    (BTW: I still think it's Michael Howard elsewhere :p )

    Just an up-date the cockeral seems to have disappeared had peaceful mornings last few days. Chickens still there but can't hear them!

    Did have a friendly neighbour across road ask if I was keeping chickens, wanted to check before calling council.

    Think council or someone else may have had a word already or it was bugging them also.

    Long may the peace continue.
