Make sure you don't leave a plastic salad spinner on top of the oven above the vents at the back when you've got the oven on

ALWAYS wear gloves when cutting/drying/powdering chillies

Don't leave the jar of marmite unattended without its lid for more than five seconds, otherwise your cat will try and get as much of her head in there as she can :rotfl:

Don't leave crumbles on the work top to cool before freezing. Said cat will shove her face in to there too :rotfl: :rotfl:

don't leave a bowl of crisps on the garden table, or sit next to them but not paying attention, or the cat will get in there too and run off across the garden crunching posh BBQ flavoured crisps.

Don't leave a batch of freshly baked buns on the side in the kitchen and then go and pick up the dog from the vets who has put her on a restricted diet because of a serious condition and expect her to just lie in front of the fire recovering. :eek: Fortunately she had no ill effects

one Christmas, my mums friend had the family to stay - including her farther, who lived in a residential home and was suffering from dementia, she eventually had to get rid of her bowl of potpourri as he kept helping himself to it, thinking it was a bowl of nibbles.

More cat sticking face in things warnings - Don't leave the fat tray from the griller on the counter after cooking sausages, or your tuna sandwich while you turn on the telly, or any leftover dinner, or your bowl of cereal... in fact, don't leave any food on the counter! The dog would like to add don't leave your doggie biscuits unattended either... bad cat!

Don't put your hand into a glass when washing up, no matter how strong you believe it is...! I had to have stitches AND glue after that - most people I know now say they think of me when washing up glasses!

I will add curry to that list. My Mum left her curry on the table thinking it would be safe as cats don't like curry. Well they do.:rotfl:
