  • Good morning everyone

Gosh, lots of new potters! Welcome to the happy band :)

Isn't it lovely and cool and refreshing this morning. Last night was so humid......hope we have a little more rain today as the garden certainly needs it.

Anyway, it's a very heavy month for birthdays, Anniversarys etc and so little cash to splash. Dear GS will be 7 at the end of the month and all he asked for is new PJ's (bless him!) I managed to get some super Transformer ones (25% off), a How To Train Your Dragon 2 sticker book (half price) and a photo album (he's getting a camera from his parents) all for £14 so a tenner in his card will sort the rest of his present out :T Now to sort out his Sister's birthday for 1st August (gulp) she is older and more picky.....

Sold an item on fleabay yesterday which netted £1.97 so I rounded it up to £2 and potted that. I have bids on one more item which ends today :)

So glad you're feeling better Sue, you had us all worried there. Have a lovely Sunday potters x

PS hope your family are feeling a bit better too jakes-mum

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon all.

Trixxibell - welcome and good luck, still time to get Xmas for "free" and you have already started with your pot which helps.

    I potted 3 x £2 coins today = £6.
That has taken me over my last years total (if sig correct - lol), so I'm well happy.
A possible quiet week next week, but we'll see.
I still have September earmarked as a £100 month - fingers crossed.

Weather very humid here, but rained and rained on and off most of the day (and last night). Brightening up now though.

I earned £13.50 for free yesterday via imutual and tracked very quickly.
Worth a look, just hope it's safe!!
    http://www.imutual.co.uk/money-dashboard

I already have enough free money from "clicks" to pay for my turkey crown (small on though).

Ahh ty ladies, DH and DS both very much better . . . knew DS was better when he hit me up for £15 for the carnival on saturday ;) Didn't see him again till 6pm

Welcome Trixxibell, enjoy saving and good luck with your debt free journey :D

Oooo had a lovely little win of £30 to spend at the continental market today :j :j my mum has done her knee again so my dear old dad took me instead :) we had a lovely wander round the market, I got 2 blackberry and apple jams for the kids, a chutney for DH, some fudge, a slice of gluten free cakey/fudgy type thing/a chocolate shortbread biscuit (the size of my hand ) also for the kids . . . :rotfl:, 3 chunks of cheese for DH, and a chutney and a balsamic vinegar for my mum and dad as he was nice enough to drive me there :) Ended up spending about £4 on top of the vouchers so thought I did very well :D

DH not so happy with me as he loves fudge and after I looked up the calories said I was a mean woman (actually he used a different word which cannot be repeated here ) bringing home one of his favourite treats when he cant have any! He was not impressed when I pointed out it was bought for the kids not him and those 4 pieces cost me over £5

A lovely £2 coin in the tin today and 4 whole pennies in the big tin :D
