Afternoon all and what a glorious day.

NewbieJosh - welcome to MSE and this thread. Good luck with your savings.
So young also, must be the youngest poster here. Though I know others have managed to involve their little ones.
btw - you might be the youngest (chronologically), but I have the youngest looks ([STRIKE]I wish[/STRIKE]). :D

    Potted just 2 x £1 coins.

    Enjoy the sun.

I was at Hampton Court show yesterday too, it was a really good one, and the weather was just right actually - cloudy so no need for suncream or a brolly :rotfl:
Have potted a £2 coin and lots of shrapnel :)
Busy week for me, off to Fairford airshow tomorrow to get deafened :D so might have some change after that.

    Hiya Sue

    Can I join please?

I have spent the evening looking for threads that will help me towards my debt free goal. Especially after my 3rd LBM today.

I have been collecting in a sealed tin for the past few months, found a huge one in the pound shop. I haven't been noting how much I put in. Just loose change at the end of the week or any I find when doing the washing goes in.
It will be nice to start monitoring what goes in and to have a proper reveal date. I'm hoping to use the amount collected here as good lump sum towards my debt before Xmas to give me a boost. Even if it covers a 1% payment I will be pleased.

Tonight I have put in £1.80 to my sealed pot.

Please let us know how you are getting on - we really are a friendly (& nosy) bunch :rotfl:

Well I managed to snaffle a lovely £2 coin from hubbie today so into the fat terramundi it has been fed - well we have had the most glorious day here in sunny Yorkshire but now it is pouring - but the plants need it and I have no complaints if it rains when I am tucked up in bed hehe

  • Hello all

Pot actually took a bit of a bashing this weekend as I took £10 out of it so I didnt have to go to the cashpoint.
However I potted £7.30 tonight in tips from work, so that brings it all up to pretty much where it was before. Have gone through my 5p jar as well and added those coins to my signature too so it's all looking fine :)
