I am hoping to join the SPC, I know its a bit late but I do have a pot at home that I have been collecting change in since Christmas, however it is not SEALED. I found a large coffee canister at work yesterday and took it home and duct taped it up.

Whilst tipping my change from one pot to the next, I noticed that there was no pound coins in my pot. I know for a fact I had put at least £15 worth in there in the last month. Someone in the house most definitely has sticky fingers. I suspect hubby has been dipping into when he heads to the shop. So it is now sealed and god help anyone who tries to tamper with it :)

I am hoping for anywhere between £40 and £50 to treat myself to a facial. The canister is half full at the minute but it is all coppers. Fingers crossed I reach my target.

It's terrible that someone else has posted about money going missing from their pot. What's wrong with people?

Anyway, I potted 43p today. Well done to LAM2011 on finally being debt free. I hope to join you by Christmas. I don't have a massive amount of debt but still very keen to be free of it :)
    Debt free 6th December 2014 :)

Sorry I havent posted in ages! Moving house plus new baby (who is now 10 months) college and going back to work have all taken their toll.

I am still potting although I am no longer saving for Xmas, I'm saving for Uni. I'll need to fund my first 2 years so sealed pot it is. Not to worry, Christmas is sorted with PARK vouchers :T

    20p potted today.

  • Hi all

Been deep cleaning bars at work today - found £2.23, £2 of which has been spent, lol but the remaining 23p has been potted.

I also found a few foreign coins in a little grey desk tidy which I have whipped and will put with my foreign/old coins I keep in a old moneybox of mine on a shelf. I got a few odd American and Euro coins in the pile, which may come in handy in a few months/next year when I go abroad again. :)
