I have had a fortunate year with not much drama. 2 areas of my life that cost me the most is my car and my ancient staffie I'm going to top up their bank accounts, give a donation to the rescue home Marge ( ancient staffie) came from and have a free Christmas.:j

Declaring my final total as £618 I'm really pleased with this 😄 I didn't count all the bits that couldn't be bagged and banked, I just put them in my new tin ready for next year. Also I find the best way to open the sealed tins is rather than using a tin opener squeeze the side of the tin, where the seam meets and you can pop the seal and tip the money out that way.

You're thinking the same as the rest of us re cash left over - straight back in the pot!!! See you on SPC 8. Morning Sue and fellow Potters


I'm chuffed to bits to declare this years total as £503.50!


Its been a tough year both emotionally and financially so I'm really pleased I've been able to save that much towards Christmas.


Thank you to everyone for all the positive posts throughout the year...I may not be able to post as much due to lack of computer/internet at home but I read them when I can.


Here's hoping for another good potting year for 2015

Counted all money on the lounge floor last night. Bit of a challenge as the dog kept pushing it over. Anyway, I am very happy to announce my first SPC challenge total as £264.51. Yippee. Looking forward to saving even more next year!

SPC #067 checking in - sorry I am a day late - busy day yesterday.

Declaring my total of £478.13. About £100 short of my target but still pretty pleased with how much I have managed to save this year.

Thanks as always for organising the challenge. It is a fab feeling to count it all up at the end of the year.

Off to join SPC8 now.
