    Her friend with a UK mobile is abroad and calls her.

    Lets get this clear your in the UK using a UK Mobile On A UK Mobile Network.

    Your friend is calling from Angola using a UK Mobile .
    If thats the case you would normally pay nothing to recieve a call.The cost of the calls are down to them.

    As your not roaming, just using your phone in country of origin,roaming charges dont apply.

    Perhaps you misunderstood the call centre person as you couldnt understand them.

    Ask T-Mobile, or even better check your own online usage history, in which country they allege you incurred the roaming charges.

    I am in the UK.

    I will contact them again this evening, I just panicked and was hoping for some reassurance.

    My online account only tells me my previous bill. I cannot see what I have been charged so far this month.

    Click on My unbilled usage once you login to your account to see what you have used this month

    I spoke to someone else in the T-Mobile call centre last night who said I have no charges outside my plan this month. This completely contradicts what I was originally told yesterday lunchtime. I took the person's name and a call reference number and I'm not sure there is much else I can do until the bill is issued on the 15th.
