Wow, if that's your response to someone sending you help via PM there really is no hope...

Thanks everyone for your replies. The point, it seems to me, is that clearly companies should not be able to describe a product with additional functions or capabilities that the product does not have - i.e. deceive the consumer - without some legal consequences. And the point was made that I am entitled to compensation for expenses as a result.

As for the banter - everyone has different views, experiences, backgrounds and knowledge. I would like to hope we can all accept this and learn to support each other wherever they are coming from... but then I'm a child of the sixties!

That is a generic instruction sheet for a range of models

NOTE: Some parts may vary according to model. Please check inside flap of box for more details.

I would imagine that refers to parts 10, 16, 18, 19, 20 and 21. These parts have (some models only) written next to them.

The dusting brush is part 12.

    :D I can hold my own. ;) :T

There's a few on here ;);) who spouted hot air when I said in December that I'd be pursuing Very through to court. Sent them their 7 day before action with all my costs etc and not only did I get paid out for both mobiles but also received interest and delivery charges back.

Doesn't mean you were legally right, sounds like they paid to get rid of you.

Well I'm glad you're happy that people will actually pay to get rid of you. ;)
