Thanks everyone for your replies. The point, it seems to me, is that clearly companies should not be able to describe a product with additional functions or capabilities that the product does not have - i.e. deceive the consumer - without some legal consequences. And the point was made that I am entitled to compensation for expenses as a result.
As for the banter - everyone has different views, experiences, backgrounds and knowledge. I would like to hope we can all accept this and learn to support each other wherever they are coming from... but then I'm a child of the sixties!:cool:0 -

There's a few on here
;) who spouted hot air when I said in December that I'd be pursuing Very through to court. Sent them their 7 day before action with all my costs etc and not only did I get paid out for both mobiles but also received interest and delivery charges back.
