Morning All!


Can't believe I didn't do my weekly update on Friday - work has just been soo busy! But here I am now! :O)


£1.80 cashback paid out from Q.co - that's winging its way to me as I type!


I managed to list 2 new items on fleabay over the weekend - job for this week is to re-list everything that hasn't previously sold ... that should keep me busy for a while. Time to lower the prices and just get rid!! Would like to make more than Aprils total this month!!


Been for another run (jog) at the weekend - still not enjoying it but the thought of burning more calories keeps me going!


Have a posh 80th birthday bash to go to this Saturday... had to buy a new outfit. Had to!! I actually bought 2, but whichever one I don't wear will be going back. Good news is I didn't need new shoes or bag to go with either option (see, always a positive!!)


Dyed my hair yesterday - popped into S4vers in town just on the off chance they sold the one I use... and it was only £4.99!! Even in the supermarkets / W1lkos they are usually about £7.00. BARGAIN. Now I just need to book a hairdressers appointment and I will be looking all ship-shaped and ready to party! lol


Been thinking ahead to the time where I am not paying out £100 a week. Hard to imagine actually being £5200 a year better off! That's one big payrise to myself! Need to be sensible as Christmas will be looming then and I don't want to start undoing all my work over the past few years!! I should be able to get through Christmas without having anything left on credit (will always use my CC for online purchases and for the points!) That will be nice! Then I need to start on a new plan! And you all know how much I love a plan... or 2!


It's Monday morning madness here so I had better go and sort everyone out!

First fleabay item of May sold last night - despatched today. Had a bit of a session on fleabay last night and have another 13 items on there now. Still more to go on... but always worry that they will all go in one day and I will have a mammoth packaging job to do!


Have started to update my spreadsheet so I can see into next year! Have forward filled my expenses as they now (DD's and weekly withdrawals etc) and now I can see where I should be (excluding CC payments!) Need to make sure I can keep as close to this projection as possible.


Oh, I think I forgot to mention that I got my new passport... it came in 5 working days!! Can't complain at that at all!


Right, eyes down for the last half hour of work and then off to circuits!!

Ok, so I have decided that I need to keep focussed on getting to the end of October (at the latest) and becoming debt-free before I get too carried away with what I am going to do after!! (my spreadsheet is up and running though for the whole of 2016 though!)


Not a lot else to report - nothing else sold on fleabay :O(
Hair cut and 80th birthday party tomorrow..... recovery Sunday!

Second fleabay item sold last night - not much of the month left now to sell more... but I live in hope! Listed 3 more items last night, so there are now 15 items looking for a new home!


OH wants to go out to a nearby motoring event on Sunday - 2 x tickets come to £60!! I would love to go, but keep thinking I could use the day to load loads more stuff on fleabay and actually make some money!! I suppose I could do it Monday - but knowing OH he will come up with something to do that costs money on that day too!


Short week at work next week - BH Monday and then only working Tuesday and Weds am and then off til Sat. We are off to London as OH is having an operation... hopefully this will sort out his wonky ticker once and for all! Hotel room booked for 2 nights was pretty costly - we are staying the night before his op and then I am staying over the night after his op - so I wanted somewhere I could retreat to and relax... didn't fancy hostelling it on my own, and OH needs a good night sleep the night before his op. Good ole T.Lodge a short walk from the hospital. Got cashback on the booking too! Using Cl*bcard vouchers to cover the rail travel, so happy that we have saved some pennies there. Does mean we are really low on vouchers now... but at least it is not physical money being spent!

Morning All!


A beautiful sunny morning here today - showers forecast for this afternoon, but that is later!!


Managed to get one more item listed on fleabay last night. Only takes a few minutes when you get into the swing of it (helps having the photos all ready to go = Nats top tip!) Hoping to get at least a couple more items on over the weekend - and some items that will go on as auction instead of BIN.


OH has booked for us to go back to London for the weekend at the end of June!! He wants something to look forward to after his operation. Will convert over some more clubcard vouchers to cover to train (which I will book in advance!) and try and find some deals for food and something to do on the Saturday. We have tickets to an event on the Sunday. We have an experience voucher for a show and meal to use up soon - so I might see what options we have for the Saturday evening!


We are going to the motor event on Sunday! OH is insisting - so we will go. A picnic will be made though!!


Have logged on and moved money around accordingly. When that Q.co money arrives in my account - I will have just over £30 to put toward paying OH back quicker. Doesn't sound a lot, but that is just over 2 days worth of repayment!


Off to have a look at fleabay and see what's happening there!

Hi everyone!
A lovely short week at work this week... today, half of tomorrow and then Sat! Off to Londinium in between to be with OH whilst he has his OP.
As predicted the weekend was quite spendy!! Gulp. Went to the motoring event on Sunday, but did round the day off with leftovers from Sat night for dinner. Yesterday we drove an hour along the coast to another seaside resort and had a few hours there with DSS and 2 of his mates (why do they have to do EVERYTHING in 3's??). By the time we all had lunch, a couple of drinks, the boys had crepes and went on a couple of things and we spent some 2p's in the amusements we had spent a small fortune. The boys were very appreciative though and all said thanks for a lovely day! OH and I treated ourselves to a meal out last night. Went to the B33f3ater as we had a £25 off voucher, so a shared starter, 2 drinks and 2 mains cost us the princely sum of £11.85 on top! The most bargainous spend of the last 3 days! lol
Oh, and a fleabay item sold yesterday - so I will get that posted today. All pounds in the pot!! ;O) So that is 4 items, but less money made than the 3 items sold last month! But it is all money in coming!!
Right, I have all this weeks work to squeeze into 1.5 days, so I had better go and get on with some!

Morning!
Back safe and sound from London and OH is laid on the sofa at home recovering whilst I work til 2 today.


Signature has been updated and money moved around.


Nothing else sold on fleabay - will get some more on tomorrow hopefully - think I might pop some bits on auction ..... or maybe not! I will see how I feel later!

Ok, so had a little flurry on fleabay over the weekend - bringing my total of sold items to 8 and total money (after all deductions) £52.34.


On top of that, 3 more items have already sold this morning, giving me a June total of £15.81! Not bad for day one!!


Managed to list 1 additional item yesterday on BIN, photographed loads of bits over the weekend, so my aim is to get another one on each evening - some might have to be auction, so will get those ready first and set the start day for Thursday, for 10 days so it ends on a Sunday evening (always a good time to finish an auction!!)


OH is recovering well - took him out in the car yesterday to relieve the cabin fever that was building!! Did the trick - even though he didn't get out the car!! He is off work all this week, so I think that toward the end of the week I will leave him some small 'home tasks' to do! he he he! (I would get him to list the items on fleabay, but he doesn't do them the way I like them to be done!! Fussy? Me?)


Ok, so a full 5 days of work this week - And it is the beginning of the month so there is plenty of accounting to do for last month! Deep joy! Oh, and we are short staffed (just for a change!!).
