IMO the way to get more people to take part in the code cracking is to NOT post the last word on the thread, but rather send it by pm to the code crackers, and only once the code crackers have booked their holidays should the last word be posted for the non code crackers to use.

I think this site is the only one with a team of code crackers. Other sites such as FB and mumsnet etc monitor this forum and then post the last word to FB, mumsnet, etc. once it has been cracked by the people on this forum. So if the last word was not freely available immediately that it becomes know more people might be motivated to help crack that last word, including the spies from other sites.

I understand where you are coming from, but for me to join in I would have to go and buy the Excel program which I cannot afford, I did pose the question could this code cracking be done in another programme but did not have a return answer.


But I have been there since teatime egging everybody on, and when others packed up for reasons of their own I stayed till 2.30am.


I would love to join in the code cracking if it was at all possible.

Might be daft question but are they the same holidays on offer on priority and non priority sites?

none of us have much of a clue about spreadsheets really, we're just having a go.

As for using another program I really have no idea, do you have another spreadsheet programme that would allow you to copy the visual basic code into a macro?

Yes I have other spreadsheets but does not allow to download the code sheets.


Trying to obtain a copy of Excel now ready for the next time.

I don't know if other spreadsheets work the same way, but we could send you the code for the macro if you know how to make one. And maybe put the thousands of code words online somehow to be copied. But the technical details are beyond me!

Not sure if the code cracker will work in future anyhow, the sun seem to be wise to us and are making it harder to crack each time.

Your idea is great but I am less than useless when it comes to PC`s. I will persevere and try to get Excel by next time.

Hi has anyone been to Bude Holiday Resort in Cornwall on a Sun holiday? If so what is it like please? Does it compare to Haven/Park Resorts etc?
In this promotion we have booked Butlins for October half term but in the last promo we booked Cornwall in August.

Hi all,kids loved their week at Butlins,Bognor so much
In fact were due to go go back 3rd November when entertainment passes and service charge is free.
