Morrisons £5 fruit and veg voucher in Thursday's Sun newspaper (no minimum spend)

No unwashed taters in my local and only pre-packed bananas.
And has alerted me to value of other items at Morrisons.
For example, pasta at 29p and Early Grey at Breakfast Tea prices.
It's like the old days of Double the Difference at T's. Still have a framed voucher for 2p.

Strangely enough, I submitted both my receipts via Checkoutsmart (50p for £5 and over spend) and both have been accepted (one was for extra bits anyway).
So, 2 x 50p's back (minus 5%).
Pays for the 2 papers.
I thought they'd get declined (using vouchers), well the one for just the £5.47 fruit and veg (though it did show £20 cash back via debit card).

Picked up a few bits and pieces that I wouldnt normally go anywhere near including a couple of Cassava tubers. Looking around online implies you just peel and boil or fry like a potato, but does anyone have any more interesting recipies ?

I used two and the girl on the till said she had a woman use five in one go!

I was very happy as it did the job for us.

I got:
- 1kg carrots
- a punnet of white grapes
- a punnet of strawberries
- 1/4 watermelon
- lettuce
- cucumber
- sweetclems
- 2lbs of bananas

Plenty for me and OH!

£5.07 less voucher 7p

so had £21.22 for £1.22 + cost of 4 papers

Not for those people who buy the paper anyway, or normally buy another one but switched to the sun just for that day.

The vouchers are only worth £4.60 when the paper was bought specifically for the voucher.

You probably live close enough to one, or both aldi and lidl to shop there, and don't realise that most of the population don't.
