Am I the only one slightly worried about classes of school chidren marching around in brownshirts? There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

I cant blame the school for short notice.
My EVIL child leaves the letter in her bag until the DAY of the event on a regular basis. She has often had it in her bag for a week or more!
Tonight I have arrived home at 5.30pm. I was going to have a quick wash and change and leave again. I had an appointment at 6pm.
'mum, I need to be at school for 6.45pm, I'm helping out with the new Y7 open evening'
Cue me : AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH
So here I am sitting watching her run round like a headless chicken getting ready. I am refusing to help.
What time does she need picking up?
She doesn't know. She's lost the sheet.
I want to lie on the floor and kick my legs and scream.
She's asking if we can leave now...........Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
LOL Quackers, I thought it was only boys who didn't give their notes in! my DS is so forgettful and thoroughly useless that he went to school with one trainer and one school shoe on Tuesday  yesterday he went to Camelot on a day trip and I wrote our phone number up his arm in case he was found injured after walking into a ride or summat! he also came home a couple of months ago with only 1 shoe on, he'd lost one!!!! and the amount of PE Kits and coats we've been through.. omg..
Sorry Al Mac, back on topic - hows the shirt looking?0 -

Roflmao - SNAP. They could be twins.
My daughter (almost 13!) came home with one shoe just over a week ago. She reckons someone had 'stolen' it. Funnily enough, when I said I was going in to school to find out who had stolen one half of a £30 pair of shoes she then thought it 'may' have got lost.
She has also had 2 coats this winter & I'm not going to start on PE kits.
Sorry for going OT Al Mac. Hope your son doesn't smell of tea bagsSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Another vote for tea here.
Fill the sink with warm water and sling in a few used teabags until later tonight, then wring or put on short spin and bang on radiator til morning.
You could also add a bit of Oxo or coffee to darken the colour.
Let us know how you get on.
(What are the odds of WANTING something to stain and it won't, lol)0 -

Glad the tea had some effect. May I suggest you pour yourself a glass of somerhing stronger than tea, as a reward? That is, if they don't want you to bake a cake for tomorrow's cake stall as well...0

I vote for tea too.
All they need I suspect is a light colour. So enjoy the cuppa first and reuse the teabag for the shirt (it is a money saving website after all....):D
Sorry to highjack your thread, but any idea of where I can find a template to make Award certificates? Microsoft online wants me to sign a 15 page long document before I can download theirs and I can't be bothered to read it!...
microsoft publisher if you have got it, get a template, spend a good 10 minutes removing all the guff you don't want and then voilathings arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back thenMercilessKiller wrote: »BH is my best mate too, its ok
