loads of loan companies have taken nearly £700 in one day from my account!
Hi please help! i looked on-line to see if i could get a £50 loan until my payday, i entered my details on a loan website but now about 10 companies have taken nearly £700 from my bank on my paypay! so i think it was a fraud! lloyds bank would not help me as they said i authorized the transactions by giving my details but i only applied to one company and i didn't even know i would be charged at all! unless i got a loan, which i didn't! and i have never even heard of these companies and certainly never had a loan from any of them! i am disgusted with the way i was treated by lloyds today and don't know what else to do. please help as i have no money now for the next month and need to pay my rent and eat! i feel sick, i'm so upset, please help!!!!!
many thanks

The first thing that comes to mind is you didn't need a £50 loan with £700 in the bank.
If you are not a troll, remember in future not to input your card details online to random websites!!

Lloyds are probably annoyed at yet another person firing their bank details into something they haven't bothered to do any research into. You need to go to the website of each of the companies and find out their refund procedures. Usually it's sending a letter to the company and they will refund you - can take up to 30 working days, though some of them do it sooner.
Beyond that, there's nothing much else you can do. Agree with what's been said, though - you must have had £700 available in your account for them to have taken it - did you really need a £50 payday loan?"Facism arrives as your friend. i know this sounds stupid but i can't even remember! was a month ago now, i just searched on google and it was one of the first ones i seen, yes i am naive to this sort of thing.0

Well, the only way you're going to see any of the cash again is to find out which sites you have used. Your bank won't help you because they are quite correct in saying you authorised the transactions.i know this sounds stupid but i can't even remember! was a month ago now, i just searched on google and it was one of the first ones i seen, yes i am naive to this sort of thing.
Hope you get something sorted."Facism arrives as your friend. i did only use one website so i don't understand why i've had been charged by so many companies without even getting a loan seems like i have been scammed, i did not knowingly authorize anyone to take money from my account, why would i be happy to pay nearly £700 to see if i could get a £50 loan! it's just crazy!0

You will have ticked a box that says you have read the terms and conditions on whichever website you used. On these terms and conditions it will specify exactly what the company is allowed to do with your card details.i did only use one website so i don't understand why i've had been charged by so many companies without even getting a loan seems like i have been scammed, i did not knowingly authorize anyone to take money from my account, why would i be happy to pay nearly £700 to see if i could get a £50 loan! it's just crazy!

There seems to have been quite a few of these types postings recently: punter enters their details on one website and discovers later they have been passed to lots of others.
If this is really happening it's very dodgy and, in this scenario, it's difficult to see how a contract could or would have been formed between the OP and the nine other companies.
I appreciate the detail may be hidden away somewhere in the T&Cs, however not all T&Cs are legal, fair or enforceable.
If I were the OP I would be persistent with Lloyds that the other nine transactions were unauthorised, although they may only sit up and take noticed if a complaint is made.0
