Faulty PS4 Argos Clearance Bargains Walsall

I bought a refurbished PS4 from argos clearance bargains from Walsall on sunday and the problem is that the PS4 turns itself off straight away after starting.


What is their website address as I cant seem to find and read their return policy?


Or can I contact sony to get it sorted as I have proof of purchase?


I prefer to contact sony as I don't want to drive on a long motorway journey back to Walsall to return it.


Are sony obliged to fix/replace the console? If sony says send it back to argos then what shall I do if argos don't have any in stock as I really want a working PS4 instead of a refund.

I believe that your contract would be with the Argos outlet not with Sony though I will bow to people with better knowledge. I have not found an email for Argos but found this {below}

As the contact details list Littlewoods head office, and they have zero feedback, I'm guessing it's not the official clearance bargains page.

I don't believe the clearance bargains outlets have an internet presence.

OP, as said, your contract is with clearance bargains but there is no harm is getting in touch with Sony. Not sure whether their warranty would cover refurb items or just the original purchaser, but you'll never know unless you ask.

If not, it will probably be a drive back to Walsall for you.

Apparently it's the same bods - I know someone who works for their repair people in Coventry.
