Hello all,
Here are my UU's to report,
Dead Sea Bath Salts with Frankincense oil & Rose petals 500ml. HG product. Absolutely would buy again and in fact already have another one in my stash which I bought with boots points. Delightful smell and gentle on my skin. This product is a reasonable price considering it smells and acts like a more premium product. Highly recommend.
Nivea Cream 30ml. This had been hanging around in my travel stash and I decided to use it up. It reminds me of when I was a child and my mother would put nivea cream on my dry skin. As inexpensive products go, nivea is a favourite of mine generally. The smell is something I enjoy, the cream is rich and I have found myself returning to it time and time again over the years. WBA when overall stash is reduced.
Sansctuary Spa body scrub 200ml. A pleasant product with gentle scrub. WNBA in near future as I am now fed up with the smell. I can imagine returning to this in the future, maybe.
Crabtree & Evelyn Rosewater hand cream 25g. I received this as part of a hand cream set about 4 Christmases ago. A very nice smelling all round hand cream which was not too greasy. WBA. I have a few hand cream's still in my stash so I am not buying any in the near future.
I love reading about other peoples UU's with mini review so I can see what you guys think of various products!!
Have a good day everybody.0 -
Kiss Prudence - we always had a pot of Nivea around when I was a child and I use Nivea Soft on my children now, I find the smell very comforting.
KT2802 - I have only ever had one Nars product and that was a lip gloss years and years ago, it was just a lip gloss like any other I seem to remember, nothing special. I really wanted the hyped up palette last year, it was called something like God Created the Woman. In all honesty though how good could it really be for just a neutral palette?
Seasidedreamer - good news
A tiny uu for me today
Vichy Normaderm Global anti imperfection moisturiser 3ml, this was a very nice base for foundation, it is for oily/combination skin and my skin felt nicely matt all day. I have a full size one in the stash.
I have been to the gym this morning and I shower when I get home and use my beloved Elemis Sharp Shower, to go with it this morning I have cracked open a tube of Korres Mint Tea Body Milk. Oh my this is a gorgeous product, it is the perfect summer body lotion, I keep getting wafts of it from my skin, it reminds me of something else which I can't put my finger on. I need to get hold of more of this stuff.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Nothing much to report, except a wedding panic before we have even booked, someone else got the date we thought we'd kinda reserved:eek: Ahh well still the other date we hopefully have is slightly better anyway. Hoepfully it will all be sorted tomorrow and I can stop worrying about it:)
Ahhh this sucks, exactly the same thing happend to us! Pleased you got sorted though. Worked out for the best for us - the day we married we had amazing weather, then the following day (when we had originally booked to marry) it P**d it down
Good luck with the planning!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
I can't remember who asked me about the Nars radiant creamy concealer (Sorry!)
I'm not massively impressed with this either, for the price anyway. It is nice and feels quite moisturising. Does't seem to crease either and is good coverage for spots. Not so great under the eyes though IMO, not as much coverage as the collection one? It would be nice for less money :rotfl:
I will UU but won't buy again, would just get the collection one.
Don't seem to be having much luck with Nars products!!
It was me!
To be honest I'm quite glad you're not over-impressed with it, it saves me splashing out! Sorry!
1 UU – M J face mask (can never remember the name but it is one of those individual sachets)No more goo hoarding!

Thanks.
Did you find any?
I found one lonely Glamour Mag in Tescos, literally no others left!..... by some miracle it is a chubby stick one!!
Super Strawberry if you would still like it

I agree! I love reading the reviews - the forum is like one big 'empties' video. The Dead Sea bath salts sound amazing and have gone on my to try list
Dolly - I have the Korres Mint Tea Body Milk on the go as wellI was disappointed at first as it doesn't smell of mint tea in the slightest but I agree that it has a very comforting scent. Kind of powdery but warm. I had a Cedar body milk by Korres that was similar so I suspect that their base fragrance/product scent is reliably lovely. (The Cedar one was a random TK Maxx buy. I love Korres body care
) The other thing is that we must have v similar skin - Vichy Normaderm worked really well for me as well. I still have a Normaderm Night in the stash and maybe a Normaderm day as well. I'm not sure why I stopped using them TBH. I think I just got bored! I will have a hunt later to see.
Babafette - I hope you're feeling better/happier today? Hugs to you.
I'm thinking of putting myself on a general NO BUY  I went a bit wild with my birthday money...Maybe I'll try to the end of the month? Two weeks should be enough to get me back on track. (Can you all tell I'm not feeling v enthusiastic about this? :rotfl:)0 -

No, I tried about 20 shops in total before admitting defeat.

Thanks for the thoughts ladies, I'm feeling a bit better today.
I have a use up from my July Project Pan list to report - Ponds Natural Aloe Vera Revitalising Body Lotion sachet 12ml. This is obviously an ancient stash relic as it appears it has long since been discontinued. It only had a very light fragrance and was far too runny for my liking so I'm glad it's gone.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
Oh no hieveryone - that sounds awful! I find that I can only leave the mask on for about 5 mins otherwise it is a nightmare to remove.
Glad you're feeling a bit better today babafette
Wow can't believe you found a chubby stick pixtotts! I am convinced that they only filled 1% of the magazines with them :rotfl: either that or a few keen people bought all of them and put them on ebay. Madness!
Dolly I really wanted that palette too. It looked gorgeous but so expensive! Did you see the hyped up Narsassict (sorry can't spell) one? It was about £50! Did look lovely but I can't justify spending that amount on eyeshadow.
piratey queen yeah I wouldn't recommend the concealer. Feel disappointed because of the hype and the cost! Never mind. It's not a bad concealer, I guess I had high expectations for the price. It's mad that it's £22 and their foundation is £31? Doesn't make sense to me as their is a lot less concealer in the tube than foundation I would think?0
