Oh VALM I'm going with DD to see him Birmingham on Saturday, can't wait, sooooo excited!!! I've been watching my Knebworth and Palladium DVDs all week to get in the mood!!! Haven't seen him live since Knebworth!

Did you enjoy the concert? We (my DD Emma and I) saw him last year at Etihad too. Am toying with the idea of getting the live CD as I bought it last year too. Mind you, he was having a proper rant at someone at our gig cos she kept offering him chocolate whilst he was performing. Wonder if they would edit those bits out on a CD.

Clinique lip freebie from Glamour magazine. Actually have 2 :o (because I took out 2 subscriptions offers ;) ) disappointed that they are both the same.

Have just picked up one of these for Emma with the free moisturiser.

Hello ladies, I hope everyone is well. It's my birthday today and it's raining even though we've had glorious weather all week. How typical! :rotfl: Never mind, I'm off out for a mooch around the shops this afternoon.

    Happy Belated Birthday. xx

I need some advice, I need a shampoo (would like to go back to a high-street one) that's good for sensitive scalps but doesn't weigh finer hair down. I prefer clear gel type shampoos to creams and can't use head & shoulders or pantene....

In other news I have bitten the bullet and, at the grand age of 36, I have booked my very first bikini wax, I'm going for an almost Brazilian, bit scared but I HATE having to shave so hopefully it'll be worth it!

honey72 - I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your son, going blind suddenly is my greatest fear. I'm glad his vision is back to normal now, hopefully it was a one-off or something they can easily prevent happening again xxx

I think I have graduated in conditioners! :T
I now only have 3 in my stash:
    1 leave in conditioner
    1 normal conditioner
    1 travel sized conditioner.
I think that is acceptable for me and I am happy with that.

    My first graduation! :o :j

Well done. I only have two smallish tubes of conditioner. Think I'll go to Boots tomorrow and get some Aussie ones. Did go to Boots on Manchester and will declare my INs later however was trying to be good and said I'd get the Aussies from ASDA as it's cheaper. However, I am about 20p short of AP for my Benefit Lemon Aid so Boots it will be.
    Aw hugs Kadison.

I have been to 11 shops today looking for the Clinique chubby stick freebie but no joy. Mountains of the mascara and moisturiser, though. :(

    Same at our ASDA today.

Lucky girl, another HUGE WAS fan over here :hello:

    :hello: :D

WAS were on great form, I wasn't sure what to expect of the crowd at a free festival but they were ace, there was a circle mosh and everything :rotfl: Took some decent pics, for a change, I'll link from my FB uploads if I can. I think TV en Francais might just be my favourite album ever, and they opened with Dinosaurs which just blew me away.

I saw the drummer in the crowd mid-afternoon, just standing watching another band, and I wanted to go and say hello but a) I was too shy and hadn't had enough cider and 2) I couldn't remember his name :o I tried googling but the mobile network was overloaded. Thwarted! :p

    Hi All

Hope you all had good weekends. HONEY, thank goodness you son is ok now, how frightening for you all.

I have a few UUs from the weekend, mainly sachets as I was away for the weekend......Did I tell you all I was seeing Robbie ;) !!!! Also used up another bath bomb (should get rid of the rest this week) and finished the dregs of some perfume but have a couple of INs to confess!!! Bought a few magazines so got the Neals Yard Hand Cream which is lovely and got 3 of the Rodial Lip Balms (left the 2 extra magazines in the hotel for other guests to read to assuage my guilt!), gorgeous lip balm, subtle Rose scent and flavour and lovely texture, makes my lips tingle!

EDIT; just realised I don't declare lip glosses - result!! Have however found 2 more Ren HCC's so added them as INs!

Not at my shops :( still the old one with the eyeliner! Will try again...I WILL get my hands on the chubby sticks lol :rotfl:

I have 2  with my subscription copies. I'd much prefer something else as I don't wear lipstick, just some vaseline on my lips if they feel dry.

No more UUs or INs, also getting good at NSD as rarely out these days to spend :p

Thanks for all the lovely comments :)

Just got back after spending all day having different tests. All blood test results ok and all eye tests ok too. The consultant said it's very rare to loose your sight in both eyes at the same time and so very unlikely to be an eye problem. Could have been blood pressure, glucose levels or circulation? Anyway I'm so relieved that he's ok. Feel as i've aged 10 years over night with all the stress so need to buy more eye cream and moisturiser now not to mention hair colour for the grey hairs lol!

We have to go back on Friday for an MRI scan because it's a lot more thorough than a CT scan apparently? Just hope they don't find anything nasty :(

Once again, thanks to all of you who commented. It really does help.

Sorry Pixtotts, was catching up on the thread and commented before I saw the updates. Yes, a strand test seems to be the way to go. Keep us updated!

Honey, what a terrible thing to happen! I hope everything is ok now? Have you heard any more?

    3 UU's and 1 IN this weekend.

    UU
    • Origins Make A Difference + Rejuvenating Treatment Lotion – WMBA – Got this in a set. Was actually very nice but I am drowning in toner at the moment so not on the cards for the near future.
    • Argan oil – WBA – great multipurpose oil
    • Balance me body wash – WNBA – Got in a beauty box. Not really my cup of tea.

    IN
    • I love coconut and cream bath foam – Had no more shower gels or bath foams in my stash, and I need me some bubbles for bath time!

Good luck with your bubbles, I've got some of this at the mo and it might just be the hard water here but I have never known a least bubbly bubble bath!! Wasn't great as a shower gel either so repurposed as hand wash and it's doing just fine :D
Exhausted all shops here and mums looked too but Chubby Sticks are rarer than hens teeth! :(

I think that's as they all seem to be on eBay at three times the magazine price plus p&p  I must have been lucky as the day after I got mine there were only moisturisers to be had. Got to say tho I much prefer the Revlon version which are much more moisturising and were recently on two for a tenner in Boots x :money:

One UU for me this AM Sure Ultra Dry roll on deo - replaced from stash

Rocky start to the wk but improved somewhat by the PM x
