Surely for a 1st car, Insurance is likely to be the major cost per mile at that level of usage ?0 -

infact I think it was longer as I had more errands to run. 0 -
ok fair enough to clarify a few bits its a 1.6 and it will be just local around town, work and back (only 2 miles away) except for weekly hospital visits. I don't know mileage as ive never drove before.
Have you thought of getting a bike or small scooter and using the considerable money saved for fun things like holidays?0
