My candles are lit now.

At seven thirty if was out side yelling kiwis name. Just a couple of minutes ago I called the dog warden and said ....

' I'd like to report a missing dog....has just returned as I dialled your number'. They were very sweet and agreed it was better to call pre-emptively so he could have been returned rather than booked into kennels.

Very jealous! Sounds a lot better than a day staring at dots on a screen (and I was on holiday too... would have preferred a day out!).

OH talks about oh-REG-en-oh, I say oh-reg-ARN-o.

And I thought it was "LEEE-dul", but I've mostly heard it from a German mate or OH's who works there.

I say termeric. I also say oh reg ARN o, the other way is American.

Americans also say hoon day instead of high oon dai like Brits do.

Ikea is a more recent thing - their adverts now pronounce it the Scandinavian way. Remember when Nestle was Nestles?

I do like dogs but I'm not sure I could justify the expense, I don't like them that much

However, if there were evening drinks, lunch or similar attached to such a meet-up I would definitely be up for coming along for a bit. Birmingham isn't too hard to get to.

I'mm looking at kiwi's terrible, terrible hair cut and thinking of how close it is to march and how low my energy is and how few commutable shows it would give us ( some people travel Europe and beyond....I've certainly missed opportunity to stay regional).


It would be cheaper just to buy tickets. Showing is pretty expensive.

Chap in the row of seats in front of me is on tinder and I can't help but see everything he is looking at, he might as well be holding his phone in my face. He appears to be pretty ambitious in his selections from what I can see.
