    I think they're quite cute. Sorry :o

Easy to say that from where I'm sitting though!

They are - they look lovely .... but they're not. It's a shame they are how they are - and breed at alarming rates - and cause damage - and carry diseases- and need to be eradicated.

They have lovely little faces :)

Isaac, Kermie and I spent the weekend in Kent, at my parents' place, and had a lovely time. The weather was glorious, and we stripped 8 apple trees, picked 22lb of crab apples, 28 quinces, 35 lb of sloes, lots of tomatoes, runner beans, French beans, squashes, chillis, courgettes and so forth. Kermie helped with some of it, from the sling, and had cuddles with Granny and both aunties when he might have got branches in the back of his head.

The insane large white cat picked a fight with a fox last week - and the fox legged it. Cue one smug moggy. I can't help feeling that discretion might have been the better part of valour, there....

It was really lovely. Golden sunshine, warm air, dressed in T-shirts and sandals, it was fab.

Surely, the fox knew that discretion is the better part of valour. It may have a litter to feed, or at the very least it needs to put some fat on for the winter. There's no point in it killing the cat and risking injury. Injury may mean game over for the fox , but not for the cat, as you'd take it to the vet.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
  • I think you are probably right about the fox. I think Yossie was a bit silly to argue with it, though!

I just want to clean the inside of the oven door.

I had to beg yesterday for someone to get me the tool to open it. One oven door has been sitting on the worktop since last week. It's not as if it isn't obvious. They've gone back to London with the key for the thing that holds the tool.

I cannot take pictures of the kitchen with crud leaking down the doors. It's really obvious. And it's not really tea towel hanging territory, although it might have to be if I'm ever going to get this house sold.

I doubt a bit of crud would really put people off. Can't you photoshop the crud away?

Buy yourself a toolkit, and don't let anyone borrow anything from it.

I've done that before. Several times. I even bought a pink one! That lasted the longest.
