    Have I? Wow. :o

I thought it was one of the 'money saving questions of the week'?

    I'm probably completely wrong though!

Annoying not serious. I've got some spontaneous bruising on feet and legs. Weirdly its almost symmetrical. Its big though. It will hopefully be faded by weekend. Its not even come out properly, just looks dirty pale rather that dark purple.

No... you can't leave it like that ... the fact you're not telling us means you did something daft! So what daft thing did you do???

They say worse things happen at sea..... but I think the people who say that are lying.

Why leave rubbish for moving day? Surely most people know you cannot take rubbish to tips in commercial vehicles? Even in a landy you get questions sometimes.

So, when do I get my little badge for being in the email, huh? Huh? Taps bruised foot impatiently.

Apparently ... most people do, but these people were clueless.

This means they haven't spent the day fastidiously cleaning every square inch ... as I'd hoped.

In all honesty I can't see how they could have had much; when I viewed they didn't have much .... maybe the shed was full of crap. I didn't look in there... it's a shed, what's to see...

I made the Mse email with a forum post. I don't think I did that before.

    It was with savoury muffins.

First I saw this, and I thought... "ooh, goody, lir's going to get a badge".

Then I saw this, and got the hump that lir hasn't got a badge yet.

Regardless of whether they knew about tips and vans, why weren't they using moving day for, well, moving (ie taking stuff from one house to another) rather than clearing (ie taking stuff to the tip)?

    Are they fully out yet???

There are loads of crises like that in this series, which I found very informative when I was gearing up to go house hunting for the first time.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

So my move wasn't too stressy (I have a lot of cr*p), I booked a storage unit for a couple of months and put stuff in that too. For sure it cost a bit more, but on the day I only had to move things that I wanted straight away. The other stuff I could pick up when I was good and ready.

Now its not very MSE to spend £260 on storing boxes, but for my peace of mind it was worth every penny. Plus it meant no issues over tip trips.

Glad you're nearly in Pastures. Having cleaned the shower again, are you going to go out in the garden tomorrow and hose yourself down save doing it for the third time?

Sorry, has to be asked, if it wasn't me, you know michaels would.

I hope they give her her badge soon. I get the impression they're not very prompt about it, though. :(

I want the mortgage free one - should qualify for it within a week or two. :)
