One day I want sparkly lights in my garden too. I am beginning to wonder if my reward for sorting out the clutter in my house might be to hire DG to help me with the interior design of it.If she'd be willing. Not that there is any prospect of the clutter being sorted enough to design the interiors any time soon.

Losing phone is the sort of thing that might happen to anybody. Putting wrong fuel in car, especially in combination with some of the other things RP has done over the last year or two, constitutes significant evidence of diminishing mental capability, I'm afraid. This is not just a rather annoying instance of not bothering to be careful, but somebody whose brain is not firing on all cylinders. Very tricky for you to know what to do. So sorry this is happening.Doozergirl wrote: »My best friend's dad lost his battle with the melanoma. Too young.
I can't leave here, so I feel rather useless.
Oh DG. I'm so sorry.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I was thinking that too!
I'm up for thinking/praying for spirit this evening and Thursday. Will set phone to bleep to remind me. We're doing it with lights, is that right??Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Dearest one, not many throw stroke parties. Its to be expected, but that doesn't make it less grim. We're here.
When will you be receiving visitors? ( happy to see you in pjs and reclining....I used to receive good friends so, and I love you and couldn't care less if things are falling apart around you or bits dropping off you, would just like to hug you, if you want that)0
