Generally speaking, it's warmer down there. You notice it once you're past Bodmin Moor, when the temperature rises by a few degrees instantly..... not that you're going that far down though!

Frost is VERY rare at any time of year in the county.

Of course.... being warmer, it means "wetter" - and being a peninsula, it's bl00dy windy every day :)

Weather and local climate knowledge for the F place please as I am there from Tues to Sat.

You're fine.... it'll be super warm down there, well past Bodmin Moor. Only issue you'll have is coastal winds - it's good to have a map and watch the local weather each morning to get the wind direction, then choose your location for the day based on which way it faces.

It's my turn to cook for all my colleagues on Friday: we do a fortnight each. Quite frankly I don't really want to but I'll look like a complete idiot if I don't. I was thinking about chocolate eclairs and tarte tatin. Both relatively simple.

    I admire your approach.
I would be tempted to make something with laxative in.

Dogs and I went to look at the blackberries here this morning. They are staring to ripen now, but not the best ones yet. The dogs were pleased though. Dog dog had her little head in the brambles delicately picking away, but it was obviously hurting big dogs neck, as she was asking me to pick them for her. I have ordered another month's supply of pills but I think October might be the month, she is lovely and bouncy and this is her very favourite time of year....apple, berry and plum time of year. :)

Is Big Dog really in such pain? It seems such a shame.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Falmouth?
    Fakenham?
    Folkestone?
    France?

There'll definitely be weather in all the UK ones, although I think France is immune from weather at this time of year.

Edit: How could I forget the most important F place? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finchley

With 3 lots of NP west of Exeter this weekend perhaps we should be arranging some sort of meet up. Normally I find it about 5 degrees colder than the SE but with the SE 5 degrees colder than normal temps will probably be the same.
    Or some deodorant.
    :)
Next you will be suggesting I take my annual bath a month early...

I would be tempted to buy something, take it home, remove the packaging and rewrap in cling film and claim it as my own.....
    I think....

You forgot: Front Garden. Maybe Spirit's spent all their disposable income this month on cleaning products for various white tops .... so they're pitching a tent in the Front garden :)

Good morning NPs. Today I am 45. :)

Happy birthday. Have a virtual beer (bit early for you but not for me!).

Although so geographically distributed it doesn't make sense to anybody who simply wants to enjoy a family holiday ..... it's probably just as close/easier to meet those same people any other day near Reading station or something :)
