I remember seeing them when Mrs Generali was pregnant with The Girl. I decided to go on a bike ride to The Source of The Thames. Near the car park that is near Teddington Lock there was a tree full of them. It was an amazing sight although I did wonder if Mrs Generali had put LSD in my water bottle.
Apparently Up North (Camden/Manchester or something) there is a breeding population of wombats. Gotta be careful of those beggurs. They're the Millwall fans of the marsupial world.
I miss the nice English dawn chorus. The one here is AAAAAACGH, SCREEEEE, WWOOOOOOOOOOP, GRTTTTTTTR. Gah! At least the sun doesn't go down at 3pm in winter:T0 -

I'd not know a "name" from 10 paces.
I'll look on ebay
P.S. I'm about 15-20 miles east of where you guessed.
It's stupid money but I'm guessing my search area may have taken in Sandbanks type places. Generally I have only found that sort of stuff in the Manchester footballer belt and London.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Philippe Starck is a French designer of some really lovely furniture and artefacts. I bought one of his juicers as a wedding present for some guys I know and desperately want one for myself, but cannot justify the price:

I've never squeezed any citrus ..... blimey, I'd be down Poundland looking for an orange squeezer/thingy.

Never knew there was such a thing!
I looked it up and there's a member store locator .... it found me Tesco and M&S..... upped the radius to 10 miles and there's a couple of shops 15 miles away (by road).0 -

Part of the grieving process I was told. takes stages to get to the point where you can remember the times before the end. PasturesNew wrote: »Doesn't it? I thought everywhere was "the same" except those places close to the pole where they have months of dark and months of sun.
If you are on the equator, you get 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark a day, regardless of the time of year. (More or less anyway, it doesn't work exactly like that).
The closer you get to the poles, the more variance you get - so at the poles during mid summer you get 24 hours of light and in winter 24 hours of dark.
It stays lighter much later in Scotland during the summer than it does in London and similarly they have shorter periods of sunlight up there during the winter.0
