I think that time will tell what will happen, but it seems that these two regions (which together make up just under 10% of Georgia's population, and both of which are heavily Pro-EEU) will have to be taken into account with any attempt with Georgia to join the EU.

As I've stated before, there are really three ways Georgia can go..

Sorry for the clunky edit, on tablet at moment so not as easy as on laptop.

I am a great fan of letting a country decide what to do without external pressure. I think scenario 1 sounds logical too though, not that it is a country I know much about. In terms of the EU, wouldn't getting in take forever? Surely the EU also knows that accepting Georgia would really annoy Russia.

Also, although this goes unsaid, allowing all these countries into the EU and then expecting them over time to adopt the Euro can't be good for the currency either. If the Euro has problems now, imagine it further down the line with Macedonia, Serbia and Moldova using it. The latter two have a,vastly lower GDP per capita than the eurozone, how far do you stretch the experiment?

Wiki also says that some Wills contain a "Titanic clause", named after the Titanic, when many people in one family, whose wills would have cross-referenced etc, all die in one cataclysmic event.

Mine does, and also states what is to happen if DD's die at the same time etc.

That's when it will get complicated with regard to legal residency, especially with regards to the company (although staff have agreed to run it on an interim basis if that were to happen)

Pfft, badges. I should have one. They have given it to everyone else who did what they asked except me.

Which one ought you to have got?

Good news in the tifosi household. Drtifosi has got a great promotion at work. Huge number of applicants, but he got it. This is a very happy place to be tonight.

Huge congratulations to Dr Tifosi. :j:j:j:T:T:T_party__party__party_

How much have you told him about us? How does he feel about getting congratulations from a whole heap of internet nutters? Have you even passed on our congratulations to him?
Hmmmmm. LIR told me yesterday that you had allowed your DKs to choose their bedroom wall colours - we did the same, and Isaac's room ended up a pale pink. It was what he wanted, so what he got.

They can (and do) have their bedroom walls whatever colours they like. DD currently has one wall each of lilac, mid blue, bright yellow and deep red. She has plans to add huge stripes etc, but neither she nor anybody else has had the time and energy to do that so far. It's her bedroom, and it can be painted over in the future, so it doesn't bother me. But I don't want her getting ideas about the front door.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

What was DS1's bedroom, that is evolving into the guest suite, needs a repaint. Currently 2 walls are white and 2 are turquoise. (We inherited this). We are all tempted to paint all walls white.

Slight concern how many coats of paint will be needed before the turquoise disappears, but we can't think of another colour we like. En-suite is white tiles with a row of blue mosaic tiles. Carpet is beige.

DS2's room is magnolia - a colour he chose. Proof that kids do grow up in taste?

He doesn't understand the NPT at all. But why would I want to talk to a bunch of strangers on an internet forum? As individuals, I can tell him about you and you sound interesting, but it is the group dynamic he doesn't get. And as for when we all met up, looking at his face you'd have thought I'd been lured in by Hannibal Lechter. I've never seen him look so relieved as when I got back. He seemed genuinely amazed when I told him how nice everyone is, and absolutely gobsmacked that people could be trusting enough to bring their children:rotfl:.

He said thanks to everyone for their thanks, before walking round the house referring to himself as "DH". He thinks that is very funny as I'd never refer to him as that or the longhand equivilent in real life. I have yet to tell him about naked bug tennis though...

I was so worried about Lydia bring her children the first time. I kept telling her to tell some one else. As if I might be Hannibal lector.

I mean, I know I don't eat children, and Lydia were one person removed in the six stages of knowing everyone via a child , but still.....

I did tell someone else. It was some time ago, but AFAIR I phoned my friend while parked outside your house, and she phoned me a little while later to check everything was OK.

I only told my kids that we were going to see a friend of mine, and that you had recently moved and I'd never been to your new house. They didn't know I hadn't met you IRL. When we drove past your house to park where you park, you were in the garden outside the front door. DD asked "Is that her?" and I couldn't say "I think so but I can't be sure" or it would have given the game away, but I couldn't say no, just in case the woman outside the front door wasn't you!!!

) . Oh, he does have hobbit feet. But he has beautiful hands, so it balances out. I like nice hands.

You do know that if and when I meet him I will now have to ask him to remove his socks and shoes.

Fwiw OH has now returned to normal skin tone and hair colour..so on meeting there is no need to be curious:)

    That washed out quickly!

If you come for lunch some time DH will be in flip flops or sandals, but io wouldn't look down if I were you. He has psoriasis in his toenails. If you are not used to it its really scary, Kind of demonic:eek:.

One of the things I love most is that he isn't at all self conscious about it, He was a little when he had his first flare after we met. When he realised it really didn't didn't bother me he wasn't bothered either. My sibling has considerably worse scaring, which I find beautiful. I do know other people don't feel the same so feel it fair to warn them!

My husband know about most of you..over the last six months I have told him about you and things that happen to you, what you say and do. He asks after those of you I express concern about when life is hard.

He is a bit non plussed that I told you of his creosote damage, he is a more private person than I am, and perhaps I should not be so free with 'his' news.

He does get that this is a valid way of making and building friendships and was very happy i was meeting up this week.
