I'm listing things and think I've just stumbled on something - it's not what I had in mind. A not very often used adjective but I think it describes my values well and I can see how it could be marketed in a playful way. The domain is available, which helps, but people might not be able to spell it easily.
Bit thrown. Worried it might just sound like any other kitchen company to people. If anyone has any burning ideas, please throw some my way.
Not sure about the name. It sounds a bit fake and made me think of FiR and the pretend Italian he outed in his call to the take away a few weeks ago.
As it will be you designing (and project managing/securing tradesmen?) can you not market you...your skills and experience? Afterall you have been 'established' for longer so you can honestly trade on a longer experience rather than "new Biz established five minutes"

It's been the same recently applying for graduate jobs.
'Our people are our main asset' 'Best possible start to your career' 'No day is the same.'
Yes, but what will I actually be doing? Most of them don't even tell you where the job is based until you've waded through pages of the marketing.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
There is a big Porcelanosa showroom near here. We never knew what they did until they replaced their front wall with some windows. (They do bathrooms BTW).
Never heard of them.... not sure if I should have.
These boards have exposed me to words I'd never heard of before, like Farrow/Ball, Howdens... and all the way down to Home Bargains .... never mind LIR's constant stream of odd foods(which I can't even remember to list).

I don't think anyone gets their kitchen layout right straight away.
I spent the first six months here trying to turn the light switch on, on the wrong wall. It took a good year to get bread bin positioning right (slow learner though)Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Bread bins need to be near the toaster, that needs to be near the fridge to get the butter out, so near the cutlery draw for your butter knife and near the crockery cupboard for your plate. Now you will want a cup of tea to go with the toast, so near the kettle and the mug stand and the food cupboard.

No reason, we hadn't heard of them and only trawled round because they had a big showroom near the recommended tile shop. They have bathrooms laid out with so much space they could take up the whole of our downstairs.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. It will compliment Doozer. It would be S kitchen design, so Yorkie would know what I do and the current kitchen page on our website would refer to this and the new one would also refer straight back to Doozer. My aim is to provide essentially the same service but one is a building firm that offers kitchens and the other is a kitchen co that does building. It utilises me more, otherwise I'm often waiting for him for three months to build something before I get involved.
I'm not 100 % sold on the actual word; it is a real word in english (and italian and spanish) although I've never felt the urge to use it in conversation.
The trouble with using my name is that a) my self confidence is nowhere near high enough and b) if I ever was able to expand, people would expect to deal with me or the team might feel like underlings.
Sorry if I'm hogging the thread. I've written it down now so I need to JFDI.

I worked for a bloke once who had started life as a photocopier salesman. He was their top photocopier salesman - and he told me how he did it. He'd undo a photocopier, put a scratch on it, then do his whole pitch. If they didn't buy, he'd offer them a "slightly damaged" one (with a scratch) for a discount on the full price he'd just quoted them ....... SOLD.0 -
I wasn't sure if I was ever going to catch up today.sympatico
An expression used by seamen when they visit prostitutes in a port and a prostitute doesn't charge one of them because "she liked it." The lucky stiff then brags, "I had a sympatico" and his friends echo enviously, "He had a sympatico."
