Hope you are feeling well again soon LydiaIf she makes herself a sufficiently nuisance tenant by harassing everyone else, she might just find herself on the wrong end of an eviction order ...
She should be on the grounds she's a nuisance to the HA, never mind the other tenants. Not a song, but a set of magic tricks. Any ideas how he does it?
Nope. When i went to the awards dinner earlier in the year, they had several magicians coming round to the various tables. On one of the tricks, this chap hd me holding 4 very squishy small foam balls in my hand. I was hanging onto those so tightly only several buryly councers could have prised those fingers apart. In the mean time, he asked one of the other diners to pick a card from a deck and confidently predicted it would be a 7 of spades. Managed to look crestfallen when it was a 4 of spades instead. He got me to open my hand and out bounced 7 foam balls...... I have no idea, I can only suspect they bred in my hand!0 -

Actually, it's not that close, but it is closer than I thought. It's odd how having money spread around, not in round numbers - and aiming for a figure that's not a round number ... and transferring amounts of £9,999/time (not a clean £10k) really mucks up your trust in the figures ... and their ability to add up/make sense even in a spreadsheet.
When I do the final transfers, I am dabbling with two current accounts, so will also have to make sure that they don't go overdrawn (a) on the day (b) within the first month because I forgot about something that's on auto-renew or something.
If it were all in neat piles of round numbers and not all frothing around in current accounts, it'd be easier to "trust" the figures in the spreadsheet
Have you at least got the final amounts into your current accounts?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm sure we could have a whip-round if you're short, PN. It would be a pleasure.
Edit.. Before Michaels comments, I'm talking about money here.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
RP just loses the good will. Was contentedly sleeping this morning away with my cats and RP brought the dog dog and kiwi up to jump on me.
. Not amused.

Deliberately woke you, or was concerned about you and wanted to check how you were? When you said RP brought the dogs with, could RP have prevented the dogs from following?
I tend to avoid theories about evil plots if simple mistakes are also plausible explanations. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

It depends on who I'm dealing with, personally. For most people I go with them not quite thinking things through. For a few others I simply go with evil plot as it saves time.
Even if it was a simple mistake, it was probably a simple mistake in their evil plot.0 -

No, RP finds it funny. Has always sent dogs in to disturb people, jump on them, so that the dogs get the flack, not RP.
Of course, doesn't get that I realise the dogs are just pleased and excited and RP is hovering out side. Seen RP do it to non RP enough times while RP sniggers when non RP squeals.
RP is going out, for an hour, wanted me to know. I wouldn't have known, would have slept through............0 -

Sending the dogs up is passive aggressive for "why aren't you up yet??"
And that. Coz I managed up all day yesterday ( till about half six) so today reverting is obviously lazy and self indulgent.
Probably right though. I'm awake now so I'll get up.0 -

Tbh, if couldn't see RP I would have checked whether car was here, if it is RP is here so where, if it isn't RP isn't. No big deal.0
