PS off to update the front page PDQ
In fact, his underwear is worryingly increasingly attracting more and more flies, which might explain the latest edition to the end-of-month celebrations:the divine sweet that is fruit slice AKA fly cemetries.
He does take things literally!I missed the weekend....they always go by too quickly!!
But I managed a big fat NSD #15 on Friday and NSD #16 yesterday.
Saturday I went a bit mental and am regretting it now but thoroughly enjoyed it at the time...lots of re-budgeting for payday this weds and August is going to be tough tough tough!
Oh well, that happens to all of us from time to time....We're not robots after all...sounds like you had a great time.Sometimes you can't put a price on that.:)Knit_Witch wrote: »Checking in with number 26 please Marmite (and has Mark Anthony appeared against my name I wonder!)

Yesterday was spendy (Pilates class),and today there's the 'tache appt.So I'm still at #20,but not I'm not complaining.:D
We have now amassed a grand total of 267 nsds!!!
I wonder if we can get over 300?0 -
ooh ... missed again ... my number 16 on Friday gives me 6-in-a-row
Pretty happy with that. Had to buy essential foods yesterday (£10 spent as I did it rather than OH, who would have spent £30 as he usually does, no matter what he goes out for!!) so that's my target down the plug hole. Only 19 is achievable. Might change the rules for next month and not count necessary spends like milk & petrol etc unless it takes me over budget
Should end the month on a run of three though as no reason to spend now
Must do better next month!Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:- Regular Savings £8,200/£10,000
- Slush Fund £3,800/£10,000
Save £12k in 2025 - #50 - £12,000/£20,000 (60%)0 -

Why not start off with a smaller target, and increase as you go along?

I'm not sure I agree with the idea of starting with a smaller target...I don't think that's really a target. At the moment I set 20 days as that is tough but achievable if I put my mind to it. I won't achieve this month for the simple reason I overspent unnecessarily so I don't deserve to have achieved target. If I set it lower, I would think it easy and allow myself spendy days when they are not necessary.
That make sense!?Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:- Regular Savings £8,200/£10,000

Don't be too hard on yourself.#16 nsds is a great achievement. How many nsds did you manage before starting this challenge?Nor many I'd guess...
You make the rules for yourself,so if something doesn't feel right, then fair enough.Everyone's different. If that feels right too you, then that's the main thing.:money:
My target every month is 19 nsds.
This month, for the first time,I've started off with a target of 10,then 13,16 and 19.A ploy to get more lovely prizes.:D
I've never lost sight of the fact that my target remains 19,so I know that I'm not going to be happy with less.0 -
I'm not going anywhere with a shop today. Walking away from them after lunch for a while probably just to get some fresh air so I'm going to claim NSD #10 today :-) meaning I've made it to target this month! Yippee!!NSDs January - 3/8 2017 total - 3
