Hi guys,
Where can I find the posts about the comps that used to be Daybreak? If I search Good Morning Britain it comes up with Game Over competitions.
Going round in circles getting all confused lol
I always put in ITV or GMB
in comps search & the listings all showplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
hi, you could also put the reg ops on your contact user cp
& that way you just go into your profile,
contacts & you'll find the latest comps they've posted
IE:
GMB - cathyj
ITV - comping cat / Painkillerplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Hey All,
Sorry for asking what is probably a really simple Q&A - now that the ITV comps are going postal - how many postal entries can you make? I see that most say up to 39 entries per phone number etc but when it is a postal entry I can find no limit to how many postcards you can send.
TIA and lots of lucky dust to all xxxBack to comping after a couple of years overseasGood Luck Everyone0 -
hi, afaik you can send as many as you want,
rules say
Post – send your entry on a postcard or on or within an envelope to (whichever address)
Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be accepted.
In the case of multiple entries received in an envelope or postcard,
only one entry will be entered into the Prize Draw.
Sufficient postage must be paid – any entries without sufficient postage will be discounted.
The Promoter and producers bear no responsibility for any entry that is incorrectly submitted, lost or received after the closing date, or damaged in any way.

All entry routes are covered by the overall limits (in some cases it is set higher and in those cases the individual T&Cs will say what it is.)7.3If we have reason to believe that an individual entrant to our competitions or prize draws has made 30 or more entries using different phone numbers (or other details on which limits on number of entries are based) from any one entry platform then the Promoter will treat this as an attempt to unfairly influence the interactive service and all entries submitted by that entrant will be discounted
I wouldn't pay to enter but if I was going to and also make lots of entries then I would phone/text because for the sake of 25p extra per entry on the "buy one get one free" offer I would know they have the entry unlike the postal route.0 -
Are the postal comps listed somewhere on here? I've just been struggling to find them.
I am too trying to decide whether to do the ITV ones postal or by txt.2012 wins = £933 :j

Ok this has been puzzling me. Previously ITV ran competitions via text, phone call and Internet. So in my thoughts each entry would be registered on a database where the winner would be chosen.
So now they've scrapped the Internet and you can enter via postcard and this is where it gets quizzical. Are there people who physically enter the details onto the database or are they scanned. I'm sure they do it genuinely and I'm not saying they don't just wondered how they did it0 -
I actually wondered the same thing, as I couldn't believe it would be someone's job to sit there and enter the information onto a database, so I emailed ITV a while back to ask the question (purely out of curiosity) and this is the response I got:
Thank you for your e-mail.
Please be assured that our competitions are run according to strict guidelines and are monitored and tested thoroughly.

All correct entries are entered into a central console which randomly picks a winner; this means that all entries received stand an equal chance of being selected, whether they have been placed via phone, post, SMS or web. This process gives each entrant the same chance of winning as anyone else.

We cannot disclose the winners' entry methods as this is commercially sensitive information, but can confirm that there have been winners from all entry methods. We generally get a very large response each day to our competitions as these are extremely popular.
