I was going to change, but it looks to me like the standing charge has increased? Currently (on Aug 2015) I seem to be charged 18p electric, 25p gas... On the Feb 2016 tariff it shows the standing charge will be 18.9p electric, 26.25p Gas. This is even though it says my payments will stay the same - seems a bit sneaky??

    with and without 5% vat?
  • We are currently on the Blue Freeze March 2017.

Will it be worth it to jump to the 2016 deal? According to EDF will save £219.24 annually.

I have my gas on the March 2017 freeze, I would say if EDF release a new 2016 tariff for some point later in that year I would say its worth switching the gas. I have my Electric on the Feb 2016 tariff and I would recommend switching just the electric over to this one as the savings for electric are substantial £62 for me on uswitch. You can chop and change EDF tariffs very easily online.

    Kind Regards

  • both gas and electric are the march 2017 freeze. I was thinking of switching both to the February 2016 freeze. Although gas & electric price may go up after 2016, I think saving approx £200 a year is worth it
