Thanks to the OP I have just changed to the Feb 2016 from the August 2015 as many people are finding out the tariff is exactly the same!
It is only a few weeks ago that I changed from the EDF March 2015 to August 2015 thanks to this forum as it was cheaper.
You really have to keep an eye out on new tariffs with EDF!

Exactly what I have just done !
Without the rain you wouldn't have the rainbows !

I came into this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left!
  • :mad:I am a EDF customer and my previous tariff has ended. Right pain to get new Blue 2016.....Suddenly can not get into my account as they tell me this is not possible as I use Google Chrome as search engine.Tried the phone and they tell me this will cost as I have the phone line from Sky and it will take 25 - 30 mins.
Not sure why I should pay for them to provide me with a swap in accounts. I can change computer settings but feeling very miffed. I can do it but what about customers who can not use the computer so well.

Do Sky charge for 0800 numbers from a landline?

EDF My Account does seem to be having problems at the moment, from any browser.

It'll probably start working again soon.
  • Just looked at revised payments for my Sky Anytime and 0800 free is now in July free ...great .What a palaver it's been though.

Yes I was not able to get My Account as usual and had to phone in order to change tariff. Online it normally takes a few clicks, on the phone it did take quite a while as I asked them to double check the tariff rate and they are obliged to read out a lot of script which you have to agree to the various parts of the contract. Anyway, all done and dusted now.

0800 has always been free for me with Sky.

Well I chose to switch last week and can't see any way of canceling from the Energy Club page. It does say there is a cooling off period of 2 weeks but no info on how.

Hi Hubb - you're right that there is a cooling off period. If you wish to cancel you'll need to give Ovo a call. Once this is done, drop us an email to energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com and we'll be able to update your Cheap Energy Club account.
