Why not change to OVO like I just did from EDF ?
Just biding my time and getting my penalty free fixed contract extended again, don't want to change providers and end up with a fixed penalty contract in case the prices come down again. My monthly payments are only £53 for my Gas/Electric +
''I don't take my eye off the ball'' and l use the cashback websites + I will get the £200 winter fuel allowance this Christmas from the government. 0 -

Sorry I must have missed that bit of information from your post.I am talking about multi fuel, not single.
Nope, cant see any reference to it there. Why not change to OVO like I just did from EDF ?
I didn't have to, comparison sites worked it out for me.How do you make that out then.
Comparisons take more into account, like your location and energy usage. your results could be completely different to mine. A good reason why you shouldn't make blanket statements like "switch to blah blah, they are the cheapest" when you have no idea what you are talking about.Ovo comes up cheaper in the Energy Club searches.
The £30 that is not guaranteed, and MSE actually advise you not to take into account? And you get £30 cashback for changing to Ovo.
Go and do your OVO selling elsewhere please.

I am not selling Ovo, I have just come out of my fixed with EDF at the end of June and switched to OVO because they came out cheaper.0

Well I am glad you have got a cheaper deal that suits you.I am not selling Ovo, I have just come out of my fixed with EDF at the end of June and switched to OVO because they came out cheaper.
Just remember that a deal that comes out good for you may be not so good for somebody else. OVO are more expensive for me, so not a good choice like they are for you.
Enjoy your savings.

Now I am confused as I thought the prices were all the same Nationally. I liked EDF and would have stayed with them but OVO came out slightly cheaper. The trouble is you don't really know for sure how accurate the calculations are.0

Being on a tariff with a penalty for moving is a bad idea at present, and part of what makes the EDF deal so attractive. Wholesale prices continue to fall, so you want to retain the ability to switch for free given that retail prices lag wholesale prices.0

Well I chose to switch last week and can't see any way of canceling from the Energy Club page. It does say there is a cooling off period of 2 weeks but no info on how.0

No hubb, they vary by region. I expect this is how our results differ. Now I am confused as I thought the prices were all the same Nationally.
If you are unsure of the calculations, try a few comparison sites. I very rarely use one, no matter what I am comparing. The trouble is you don't really know for sure how accurate the calculations are.
Where is the comparison site for the comparison sites?
